Brendan, I contacted The Goose Green Society where the incident occured and they issued this statement.

'Fie 'pon his sorry and the curse of Beelzebub's pox on his promise, but we beg you return to where our trees can a gibbet make'

Signed

'Mother' Goose and Green Gartside (out of Scritti Politti)

I don't know Brendan, I reckon they're being colourful, but still I'd give the area a swerve for a while.

Snorky, just for a moment I was considering making a humourous misinterpretation of the word 'rogue'.

What was I thinking? I mean 'rouge'.

Boy is my face red.

Why? Do you work for the filth?

Before I answer that question, can anyone give me some legal advice on the statute of limitations on bin-kicking?

Frogley Road (juction with Nutbrook) 1988. Was stopped along with a friend for stealing a Motorcycle. We were on foot.

East Dulwich Road 1988. Was stopped along with my sister. We saw a firework being launched from a window in the flat above Harry's Sweet shop.

The police came out of Spurling road and accused us of setting it of. Neither of us had matches or a lighter.

I was stopped so many times in my early teens that I developed a hatred for the Police which still lasts to this day.

Oh really DM.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken but didn't you defraud several well known animal charities to fund your Boden habit.

My first contact with the law was when I was four years old. During a very hot day in the late 80's me and my little brother were sitting on the pavement in front of our house when we lived in Silverdale rd in Sydenham. We were drawing on the pavement with a piece of chalk. All of a sudden the fuzz pulls up and one of the c@nts starts shouting at us and accuses us of vandalism. I was in tears and my brother didn't have a clue what was going on. We were marched in doors where our Nan was. She went absolutely ballistic at them and chased them out of the house and slammed the door.

Fighting outside the Coach and horses pub in Lewisham which resulted in me being gassed by the old bill and a night in the cells. That also went to Woolwich magistrates.

Possession of Cannabis in Turkey. I had to buy my way out of that situation, ?100.

I got caught with a lil tiny amount of bourbon & coke in a small plastic cup by the cops, coming out of a dodgy stripclub called Rawhide (it was for my ex- gfs' cousins' stag do ) in a small town in Australia. I told the cop that I didn't realise I was in Saudi Arabia when he questioned me abt carrying alcohol on the street. I completely forgot abt the incident when, a few days later i got a fine for abt $200 thru the post- bang went my didgeridoo money, which pleased my ex, I guess. My ex gfs dad had also got a fine thru the post that day for speeding, so the women of the house were not impressed...

One of my friends got arrested for invading Luxembourg, but that's a story for another day....

Sweetie, I am a Missoni and Prada junkie. The children are clad in Boden - which is a catalogue. You will never again catch me wearing Boden, I wore it during a brief spell when I was suffering from postnatal depression (I also had a tasteless wipe clean vinyl Orla Kiely handbag OHMYGOD!).

I could not ever do anything dishonest. Yes my husband is a rich and powerful banker, and God only knows how he makes his cash (I wouldn't like to ask).

I myself am a working mother, a highly successful PR mogul. I am the brand ambassador for several big names (that is similar to being a UN ambassador, but without the flies or orphans and with lots more Champagne)...

Quite possibly, what school did you go to? I was Aske's, but remember lots of others, JAGS amongst them.

    • A shout out for Mark, owner of Pure Plumbers. 07970 971510 They're well established in the Sevenoaks area, but have recently started doing more work in SE London.  Did some v quick and efficient bathroom and boiler fixes for me; have also seen some of the bathrooms he's built, which have a nice attention to detail. • Totally agree regarding not supporting chains. Gail’s was fine but last time I went in Feb this year, actually walked out Fayetteville looking at menu and waiting 15 minutes to even get glass of water and not busy at all. Staff gone down hill - sooner it goes the better… Always prefer to support non chains - so many lovely places with good food to choose from with pleasant staff who know about customer service and sadly, non English which says a lot for our culture, pubs are also becoming abit of a hit and miss affair but maybe just unlucky. At the end of the day all about the chef. Still abit unclear where new place is located - is it down the road from Goose Green where parade of shops are before Peckham Rye?
    • Surely only where the local businesses offer clear advantages, otherwise you are rewarding what should be failure. I want to be served by a better bakery than Gail's, not a worse but local independent one. Certainly give a local independent some time to get the offer right, but don't buy goods which are worse and or more expensive just because the outlet isn't a chain.
    • Let’s just boycott all chains in favour of local businesses.  Places like Gail’s popping up everywhere has a very damaging impact on small businesses. It’s just the same as the new empanadas place but on a bigger scale. I’ll say it a million times more, we hold the power with our choices. Let’s use our power to look after ourselves and our environment (which includes small local family businesses). And yes, I also love Chacarero.
