Sue
Being able to paint within the lines the artist has already drawn, I would have thought :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6079-artists-wanted-for-goose-green-mural/#findComment-195325 Share on other sites

Moos
Me too - and the new design looks good. I'm glad he didn't incorporate a 'tagging section' as was once suggested. Peckhamgatecrasher
Saw the great man himself this morning, directing the scaffolding and taking snaps. Was overcome by uncharacteristic shyness otherwise I would have gone up to him and mumbled something vaguely sycophantic. [Actually, I couldn't for the life of me remember his name.] Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6079-artists-wanted-for-goose-green-mural/#findComment-196564 Share on other sites
p_in_ed
Stan met with the Deputy Head of St John's and St Clement's school this morning, to discuss the involvement of the children in repainting the mural. The staff and the governors, as well the children, are keen that the school should be involved. The Governors met last night, discussed the mural and were enthusiastic, having apparently been made aware of the plans through updates on the EDF!Stan also met with Father Charles from St John's Church this morning. There seems to be an all round enthusiaasm for the project, and plans are falling into place. Stan said he would provide me with a more detailed update on the meeting this morning and on the next steps, and I'll post the notes on here when he does.PGC, say hello to him when you see him next. Very approachable, and a fund of fascinating stories about artists old and new. Ted Max
I'd be curious too, if I were him."As the caterpillar chooses the fairest leaves to lay her eggs on, so the priest lays his curse on the fairest joys."
