Jesus' execution is in the romsn and jewish records and mohammed's family were a well known middle eastern merchants.I think it is pretty well documnted and accepted they both existed as people...you are perhaps getting confused with their claims to divinity?

All known 'external' documentary sources are either proven or suspected Christian interpolations, pious frauds or have been disputed or discounted for other reasons.

Jewish, Christian and Islamic sources are considered self-serving therefore not acceptable as credible evidence.

There is no independent or credible evidence that Prophet Mohammad (saaw) was a historical figure, unless you can demonstrate otherwise.

Widely accepted as matters of faith - that doesn't count as evidence, though.

well, you are going against historicsl (not religous) orthodoxy so unless your Simon Schama I'm gonna go with them. Prove it? how the hell am I going to and can I be arsed to go and get you evidence at 7.30pm on a tuesday in my holidsy week....go figure as they say...



all Jewish, islamic and christian records are of no historicsl value snd the other sources are pious fakes...do you run an american conspiracy theory website by any chance?

"Rory Gallagher - Bullfrog Blues"....this was why Rory was universally loved. After 2 mins 30 seconds the crowd in France are on the stage head-banging with him and then he carries on, playing on top of the Amps and back amongst the madding crowd again.

Exhilarating stuff and I never saw him. More fool me.

No - I did not meet him TLS - It was my first job, I was too junior and was not allowed to meet clients. Spoke to him on the phone once, he seemed ok. Also he was a local hero in Northern Ireland. Have always meant to get into his music and have watched him on Youtube following one of your previous posts, really talented guy.

Met Joe Strummer a couple of times and he was great, I also had his phone number while he was staying with one of the Conrans and used to call him up on the way home from nights out.

He also once lent my son twenty quid to get home from Brixton when he spent a long evening backstage at the Academy.

      I struggled with the parakeets literally decimating the bird feeders within an hour.  I tried squirrel proof ones to see if they helped, but they jammed their claws in the mechanism to stop it closing.  Then the pigeons managed to do the same.  I spent a long time researching the best ideas and came across something on Pinterest.  Someone had used a metal dog cage and attached it to a wooden platform.  So that's what I did!  Once set up, you just hang the feeders inside.  Large birds like pigeons and parakeets cannot get inside.  I get all the small birds, plus starlings.  Not many thrushes or blackbirds around, so have no idea if they could get in.  The squirrels do!  It's amazing watching them slide through narrow gaps.  I also covered the roof of the cage with a piece of plastic to keep the rain off, plus I am just about to replace the cage plastic base with something more mesh like.  It can get a bit gooey after a while, so with mesh, all the dropped seed from the messy goldfinches, will go on to the ground where the pigeons can clear up.  I even added a birdcam.

      Yep, of course I do - did you not read the bit from the survey about the noise having a negative impact on foraging bats? And like @Angelina I'm aware it affects other people, and if no one complains then it gives them an argument that's it's all ok.  The tree in question was a cherry that everyone loves, didn't need to be touched, and the council admitted was a mistake and shouldn't have happened.  The council and Gala use the 'local' narrative as a benefit, without any figures to back it up. It is used as an argument for the event to go ahead, when there's no basis of fact. The attendees are clearly not local as they've proved they don't give a **** about the area. The council do tell us where the money is spent - 100% on running the Events dept, and a myriad of unlisted free events. They just don't tell us how much, so that we can make an informed decision on whether the gain is with the pain.  Sorry, what was your point again?
