as someone very wisely pointed out, he's swiss. being half swiss i can tell you right now without the shadow of any doubt that they are not a nation good at dressing. building design, typefaces, graphics all brilliant but dress sense just escapes them.


he's a great sportsman who delivers great viewing with his fantastic skills so no complaints here.

You'll have to forgive *Bob* for being such a blatant eurosceptic plimsoul it's just that ever since he bought that block of cheese with all those holes in it he just can't bring himself to forgive and forget.


Still, he wears Box fresh so maybe there's some room for him in the Alps.

Its time we learned, collectively, to embrace every "Johnny Foreigner" and clutch them firmly to our Manly bosoms or Female equivalent.


Lets overlook the fact that Roger is as Swiss as a Cantonese Takeaway and shower him with the praise and adulation that he, undoubtedly, deserves.

You know, I've actually been to Switzerland. I have, it's true. How many people did I see with luggage or clothes bearing a gold monogram of their initials? None. Not even one (obviously "Rog" was overseas, playing in a tournament at the time).


Let's just accept the fact that while he may be awesome at tennis, he is certainly not humble.

should he bow down and say 'i'm so sorry for winning and i must remember that how i dress is going to reflect entirely on who i am as a person rather than how i behave.'

Where are the dedicated, dogged and doomed baseliners as mad as T.LS (Bexley, seeded 8)? There's a new Tim around. He's called Laura and he's quite a fetching wee thing with that moneyed, honeyed complexion that speaks of long days on the yacht in the summer hols. His expensive education has not been entirely wasted, though, as he has had the cunning idea of entering the Women's draw, which is bound to help.

      Yes, I've never bought a  phone that was locked to a specific network. So as far as I know,I can just stick any SIM card in my old mobile. I think it still works, but there must have been some reason why I bought a new one. I think I wanted something with more storage capacity. I hardly ever make actual phone calls, I usually use WhatsApp or texts or emails, but clearly if my main phone is stolen I would need to make various phone calls ASAP. I was just going to get a cheap card from Argos, so I'm not sure anybody there would know! The actual mobile I use is on a SIM only contract with iD, so maybe I should just ask them. I don't care about the number as it's only for occasional use. I've had my main mobile number ever since I've had a mobile, so around 25 years, and I do care about that number as it's very easy to remember,  so I've moved it around whenever I've changed providers
