My wife is out and I have just been unpacking the online shopping and have found in one bag - to my utter horror - a packet of Bakewell slices.

What should I do - should I confront my wife openly about this purchase, demanding an explanation, should I keep quiet and pretend it never happened, or should I throw them in the bin and hope she does not notice?

I see anything by Mr Kipling as something only very old people have in their cupboards - we can't be there yet.

Exceedingly poor Mick......a friend was kind enough to call my male appendage Mr. Kipling once, many moons ago though, and not because he was exceedingly good either....B)

You do know of the old Almond/ Arsenic relationship..........do you not?

It is said that the bitter almond has a "relationship" with the known deadly toxin which is "Arsenic".......neahh

Beware, be very aware........a plot may be afoot.

"More cake dear? go on finish up the packet my love!....why dont'cha"

Sneaking unpleasant confectionary into the home without your knowledge would seem to be a betrayal of trust, but perhaps a frank and open discussion, possibly with a professional councellor acting as an intermediary, would help. Has she ever done this kind of thing before?

    • Hi all My car was stolen between 1.30pm-1.50pm today in SE22 East Dulwich in South East London. I have of course reported this to the police but not much is being done, so I thought I'd give this a shot. The registration is GM66YOV, though its possible the licence plate may have been changed by now. If you see it anywhere please contact me or the police. Thankyou!
    • Years ago, got my ears pierced, alcohol on site, gun ..done.. Simple.. Gosh, surely your daughter of mothers can recommend  - do you really need to post on forum? Or maybe you home school whatever.. still recovering from shock, posted along the lines of, advice needed about adopting/ buying a dog…. Guess I am now at a age, where I should just keep quiet and pass no comment and read  postings like a “soap” - cheaper than tv licence…

    • I would'nt go locally I'd go to Maria Tash in Liberty..it'll be more expensive but they will do a good job and its their buisness not a 'sideline' to other beauty offerings. https://www.mariatash.com/store-locations/maria-tash-london-liberty?srsltid=AfmBOoqMz7Ev-4YqzrlkePX0n3i5JbiggGYSR9kU5z1p_ajP_jjQKqlt I have no experience of piercing at Polished but I went in to enquire about a manicure and I found the staff attitude pretty rude, looking me up and down when I walked in and just giving off a bad attitude like they just could'nt be bothered maybe because I'm not a glam 30 something? I dont know.
