Mick Mac
My wife is out and I have just been unpacking the online shopping and have found in one bag - to my utter horror - a packet of Bakewell slices. What should I do - should I confront my wife openly about this purchase, demanding an explanation, should I keep quiet and pretend it never happened, or should I throw them in the bin and hope she does not notice? I see anything by Mr Kipling as something only very old people have in their cupboards - we can't be there yet. Muley
Sneaking unpleasant confectionary into the home without your knowledge would seem to be a betrayal of trust, but perhaps a frank and open discussion, possibly with a professional councellor acting as an intermediary, would help. Has she ever done this kind of thing before? *Bob*
These cakes lost their charm when they stopped having the advert voiceovers done by a paedophilic old man. I think he went over to Werthers Original in the end. SteveT
Ask where your crate of Speckled Hen is, which you need to swill down after the gallon of Guinnes, kids seem to get everything while you remain but a shadow of the man you once were.
