Is this anything to do with your pet series The Wire Sean? I'd have though that footage of the Twin Towers being deconstructed was likely to be more stunning.

It's a true story of a tightrope walker who managed to get a cable between the two towers and walk across - but much more interesting than that sounds

Shure it wasn't disparagement at all Sean. I'm hooked by the series on the Beeb at the moment (have to record it as it's on too late) and wouldn't have realised what I was missing if it wasn't for your thread. It was your thread wasn't it?

the documentary isn't about the construction of the towers, but does include some footage which I found interesting - the deconstruction of same has been overdone. A tad.

Keef - I agree with you on this one. It starts to drag on a bit. As a documentary its fine but I can not understand why it was released in cinemas as if it was a film. Apart from making money of course!

I would definitely agree with the criticisms of it being too long and him being less than endearing. But for all that I still found it valid. The mix of recreations and very personal film footage from the time was another plus for me
