Just you wait, if it continues at this rate it's bound to split off into an alternative universe where the Copenhagen Interpretation is ditched for the East Dulwich Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics and we'll be rich and famous while the lounge lizards are left holding their dicks :)

BBW - you are quiet tonight - get back in the mix. Never take a criticism to heart. Get posting.

What dilemma? There is no dilemma.

It's simple really. The Forum is for everyone to give their tuppence-worth on any subject, whatever the mood - informative, witty, sarcastic, serious etc - and the categories for you to express yourself have recently been increased.

If I thought The Drawing Room was elitist I wouldn't go there. If someone knows more about a topic than me (or pretends to) I'll learn from them or ignore them.

The 20 or so people on this thread, as witty and vocal as you are, are not self-appointed representatives of the Forum as a whole. Join in or shut up. Simple.

so we can post what we think...or we have to shut up?...make your mind up

Well, having at first used the Drawing Room for the purpose of annoying those who are cleverer than myself by posting silly one-liners, I have to say that, having discovered some really interesting threads, I am now a fan. Also, I like the way the "Chair" sits back and only really intervenes where absolutely necessary.

Sorry, I'm interrupting which is rude, but I have just started reading this thread, or possibly re-reading as my memory is shot to pieces, and I am on about page one :) and I just so agree with Moos' post I had to say so.

Apologies again - as you were :)

    • I have sadly had terrible food at The Plough.
    • Must recommend Baseline Build and Renovate Firm, who have recently completed remedial work in the kitchen and shower room in our ground floor extension. They also undertook some repair and repainted  the external wall  of the extension.  Callum, the supervisor, came round regularly to check on the work underway and to answer any of our queries, The two guys who did the work were friendly,.  hard working,, ensured that our floor and units were well covered with sheeting etc and cleared up daily before leaving,  Had a couple of days when the rain was too heavy to undertake the exterior painting but work was completed within 7 days.  I found them on the Which Trusted Traders web site   They are based in Peckham.
    • Thank you for update! Protected Paws are amazing 😍
    • Chern would be ideal if we did not have the children with us -they do not like Chinese/Indian food (their mum has tried with them)  Went to The Plough for a drink after a funeral last week and had a look at their menu - expensive and unless they had a separate children's menu, did not see anything suitable. Lunch Time sandwich and drink was £12.
