Stacey is Number 1 on my husband's Top 5. For the second time I came face to face with her as she scuttled by, and for the second time, I played it cool.

The first time, it was his birthday and it was a cruel twist of fate that I had just left him moments before the sighting.

My question is this: would I be seen to be odd/ loser-ish to ask for her autograph (he is desperate for some kind of connection - weirdo)? It seems a bit naff, especially since she is no random celeb, but a fellow ED-dweller.

Please comment.

I met Gavin at a Florence and the Machine gig a couple of months ago (yes and yes) and he had a go at me for taking his photo without asking first.

The rocky marriage might be putting a strain on their personal lives, so tread carefully.

Been in the big smoke 10 years and encountered many a celeb, but Stacey - she's Top of his Top 5. Surely I can drop my cool veneer, just this once. She's Welsh, after all....

Stacey (Jo Jo).. if you're out there.... be flattered, my husband has VERY high standards;-)

Page is married to the English actor James Thornton and lives in East Dulwich. ?I absolutely love it. I'm starting to know the people in the shops and discover the local parks. It's got a lovely community feel so I don't feel so anonymous.?

From ThisIsLondon - I think she wants to make friends! Go for it. But where exactly do you think it will end? You could get invited round for dinner then what will your husband do?

And there always has to be at least one celeb you drop your cool London persona for - I would lose it if I met either Mark E Smith or the Beeny in ED.

You could shout " I'm the only gay in the village" next time & when she looks round shrug you shoulders " It does sound Welsh though dunnit "

Then you're in, it's down to you if you blow it then.

Good luck boyo...

As I did when quite literally bumping into Nick Cave, carrying a Head holdall. "Wibble" I said.

    • Hello all,  If your child goes to this gym club: since the new payment system, have you received clear information about the cost per session, the cost per term and when sessions will be omitted eg for school opened days? (I have asked the club, more than once, no full response so far) This term started in late August, before school had gone back (did many attend that session?). Next term there is no break for half term, so there are 12 sessions to be paid. Does that seem to be more sessions than there used to be?    I am sure they are doing their best, but the info from the new auto pay system isn’t detailed enough, and the auto pay just takes an unspecified amount. I wondered if it’s just me (wanting more detail), or if there are others too? (my child loves the gym itself!) thanks
    • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent service! We had one of Paul Edgley’ s team come to fit some new lights in our living room. They were able to come at reasonably short notice, arrived on time, were friendly and professional, and did a great job. Everything was left clean and tidy afterwards, and the lights look fantastic. Highly recommend! Paul’s contact details are 07802 627967
    • For Plusnet, I pay £31.99 for Full Fibre 500.  (the number is the line speed you have paid for) I have recently recontracted.  Always phone them up, and ask what deal they can do for me.  Usually get a decent reduction.  Sue, I would suggest you call them, especially if you are close to contract renewal.  Sometimes they will change deals mid-contract, as I have found in the past.
