Is that really true - seems unlikely!!

You're not a Classics teacher, I take it UG?

Don't know when this map was done, but apparently I live on the turf of the Penge Block Gang. However, a Bromley report late 2012 said they were no longer an operational street gang, and a google search shows that they were only really known because one of their members was killed by another gang.

I think basically they were a bit of a crap gang.

I live near Penge East and just googled P-Block which is my nearest gang....first thing that comes up is http://study.com/academy/lesson/p-block-elements-on-the-periodic-table-properties-lesson-quiz.html which is encouraging...not all gangs are guns and drugs, seems this lot are more of a study group

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
