Much better show this week. last chap v good, Ricky from Hollyoaks I believe, bird from Primeval good too, and I thought Natalie Cassidy put on a good show.

I love it. I have to say I don't watch that much telly but this is something that I watch with a smile on my face all the way through - unless I'm cringing.

Ha ha - when I was pregnant I got a sign made with the words "Mr. Moos'* Shed" and put it up - I suspected that in among the stresses of family life he might need a bit of man space.

So I'm imagining leather buttoned armchairs, a green desk lamp, perhaps some hunting pictures? Double doors, so that no-one disturbs Daddy when he's 'sporting the oak'?

Or is it like most people's spare rooms, a too-large wardrobe whose door won't shut from all the too-small clothes in it, lots of slightly broken Ikea furniture, a clothes drier, lots of suitcases, an old telly, and tucked away a tiny desk with your favourite chair, and bin next to it with lots of empty beer cans?

*actually, I put his name, I'm not that much of an egomaniac

    • I had this same query the other week - Mediquip no longer cover Southwark and I believe the company when bankrupt? Anyway, after some digging, I found the news on the adult social care page of Southwark Council website.  The new supplier of medical equipment that is issued to Southwark residents via an OT from the council or the NHS is Provide Equipment Hub.  I emailed them about returning two items and they did promptly respond and came and picked up the items the following week.  Email them at [email protected] Importantly, they will come and do urgent repairs of equipment like hospital beds.  I'm surprised that Southwark haven't made this change more widely known as it will impact many vulnerable residents.

    • Hello East Dulwich families 👋 I wanted to introduce myself to the community. I’m a professional family & wedding photographer with 14+ years of experience, and I split my time between the US and London throughout the year. I’ll be based in London for the coming weeks and would love to photograph more local families here in East Dulwich. My approach is very relaxed and natural — no stiff posing, no pressure — just real connection, movement, and the beautiful everyday moments that tell your family’s story. I work especially well with kids and parents who feel “awkward” in front of the camera (which honestly is most of us!). Sessions can take place at home, in the park, on your favourite street, or anywhere that feels meaningful to you. The goal is to create images that feel like your life — not a photoshoot. If anyone has been thinking about documenting this season with their children, I’d love to connect, answer questions, or simply share examples of my work. No pressure at all — just happy to be here and meet some neighbours. You can see my work here: https://bluesparkphotography.com/family/ (use the contact page on the site to send me a message if you're interested!).
