They said they were expanding back into the bit behind the counter and were going to expand their beer selection. Woo hoo!

Apparently they've been quoted 3 weeks for the refurb.

Yep. it's being refurbed, and should be open again within the next four or five days with a much larger shop space and beer and wine selection.

Andreas (opp east dulwich deli) do some organic beer and the Frog On the Green Nunhead deli does a lovely selection of interesting beer at normal prices. Also in Bellenden Road there is the cave of spirits which does Whitstable beer and those Pullman beers from Suffolk. Luckily I live in the middle of this Beermuda triangle.

Iceland have got four pint-sized cans of proper Stella for a fiver, but my brain's deteriorated too far to work out whether that's better value than Bossman's six smaller cans for a fiver or not :))

I meant it in the ..."even if it was ?2 a gallon it wouldn't be worth it" sense
