Why? Are they in same group as England... I think when push comes to shove ppl will vote Labour

Wales to win at HQ for the 4th consecutive 6 Nations season

Andy Murrey to reach the Wimbledon final and then be soundly beaten

Al Fayed to outbid M&S for a site on Lordship Lane

- the UK will decide it needs to invest in manufacturing again

- the price of carbon will increase, creating a bubble ripe and ready to burst..

- Andy Murray WILL win Wimbledon

- the Royal wedding will be dramatically called off

- the Large Hadron Collider will find a clue to the Higgs-Boson

- Dualit will extend its range to include rice cookers (in a variety of colours with the chrome one being the priciest for some strange reason)

I predict political correctness will no longer be taken into consideration in most matters, owing to a resurgence of sanity waking up in the people who need to take charge of their positions of true fairness, and not to be ruled by this primitive law that has emerged under the flag of P.C.

Uneducated people will be educated for their own good, and stop being patronised.

Margeret Thatcher will be in the headlines by autumn, as will Prince Phillip, and a rolling stone will stop rolling, and a tradgey with a famous racing driver will unfold.

Cheryl Cole will divorce, and Simon Cowell will be in the centre of a scandal.

People will question charities, like band aid (what did they do with the money, how many Hospitals, how many water wells?)

Jordon will find favour when she opens a riding school for the disabled, moves house and writes a set of books on sexual hygene, her advice will be taken seriously.

Holly will leave GMT. A new Elvis will emerge. Soya and G.M food will be blamed for obesity, and a drop in wildlife, insects War between Iraq and Iran will be Rekindled.

Conservatives will win the election. WE will keep the pound and we will have economic growth. America will be the place most migrants will choose to live.

Rosie I think there are others out there who also wept. The thing is I looked into David's eyes before he regenerated and felt he may have made a mistake in leaving, regret looked back at me. You know what they say eyes are the mirror to the soul.( she says walking off weeping yet again)

    • Sorry to hear you are having issues. Fwiw, we received a regular letter this week. Maybe it's worth asking at the Dulwich delivery office (it's in West Dulwich, though. Their phone number is 03457740740) to see if there are aware of any issues in your particular area?  I've seen cases in the past were the a particular postie was sick and they didn't cover for them, they just let everything accumulate for a couple of days until the person was back.
    • Mal, it is related to this issue and if you scroll back a few pages you will see that Brockwell was brought up in relation to this (not by me I hasten to add). Do you not think it seems perfectly reasonable for people to be able to reference a neighbouring event - one that is having a number of challenges not too dissimilar to the ones Gala is having?     These sentences from the BrixtonBuzz article I linked seem very pertinent too:  The concern, they argue, is not just about permits, but about the Council’s repeated failure to follow proper planning processes and its habit of acting in the interests of commercial promoters rather than the local community.   And this: The group is now calling on residents to write to their local MP and councillors, accusing the Council of using legal mechanisms to avoid scrutiny.
    • Mal, like it or not, it does have some bearing on other councils. There was an item about it on Times Radio on Sunday - Kate Borsay, a presenter who lives locally, referenced Peckham Rye in relation to the Brockwell case. As the reporter pointed out, local councils will all be talking to each other and closely following how things unfold. If a precedent is set with Brockwell, other councils will be under greater scrutiny.
    • Why don't you start a new thread about Brockwell Park?  I promise that I won't post on it.
