Have you heard that the Silvester Rd sorting office is going to close.

We will all be expected to go to Peckham to collect our parcels.

How are people expected to get the items home? try carring awkward parcels on the bus maybe.

If the Royal Mail thinks anything of there customers why are they trying to get rid of the

sorting office we have all known for over 50 years.

We do not want to go to Peckham for our Post. So far we have lost our Police stations both of them.

Now it looks like we are to lose the sorting office. Its about time we took a stand about this before it is done and dusted.

I have had to go to Sorting Office when recorded delivery or registered letter cannot be delivered as I am at work. Sometimes on line supplier will send parcel via Royal mail and cannot deliver. What times are the Peckham SO open?

If they are getting rid of the sorting office are they also getting rid of the delivery centre in Pellat Rd?

You could buy a share, become a shareholder and raise a question regarding this at the AGM.

Dear Ellis: No I hadn't heard this - until you started this rumour, which has been allowed to turn into a popular thread. This may not have been intended as trolling, but that's how I'm treating it. What is your source (I hope it's not "a friend told me...").

I too would like to know the source of this rumour/information.

I sincerely hope it isn't true. I have a small letterbox and consequently have to go to Silvester Road quite often to collect things. I don't particularly want to have to increase the size of the letterbox :(

This is a network cctv camera that can record to an SD card or a network device. it can be powered by POE (Power Over ethernet) or via an adaptor. It can be set to record when it detects motion I have it listed on Epay at a higher price but i I sell locally there will be no Ppay fees and no postage charges Technical Specifications Model IB9367-HT:  The IB9367-HT is the  professional outdoor IR bullet network camera from VIVOTEK, equipped with a full HD sensor capable of 1920x1080 resolution at 30 fps. With the most updated VIVOTEK SNV and WDR Pro technology, the IB9367-HT is capable of capturing the highest quality images in both low light and high contrast environments. The IB9367-HT also offers great image in night time surveillance technology. By adopting Smart IR II technology from VIVOTEK speed domes, the IB9367-HT IR illuminators now align with the remote focus lens' focus angle to provide the best IR image quality at any lens setting. This feature optimizes IR intensity, reduces IR hotspots, and increases the IR effective range up to 30 meters. Additionally, the IB9367-HT employs VIVOTEK's Smart Stream III technology and H.265 compression codec, reducing bandwidth more than 90%* while still maintaining excellent image quality compared to traditional H.264 without smart streaming. Furthermore, the VIVOTEK VADP (VIVOTEK Application Development Platform) allows users to add customized programs for various applications and user scenarios. Protecting all these features is the IB9367's IP66, IP67 and IK10 rated housing, capable of operating from -30°C to 50°C.

Sue, if you do find a network that will let you keep a connection with them for nowt, or without any risk (in some cases) of having the number and even account balance withdrawn, do let me know. :)  It's happened to me twice -- once with a really nice number too.  I need to find a better deal for myself too.
