Well done to James Barber - certainly puts in the legwork on this forum and I wouldn't be surprised if that engagement was partly responsible for his victory, especially in such anti-LD times.

Common sense prevailed then. At least in Southwark. Hopefully it will soon happen everywhere else.


ETA: Really hope that Vanessa & the AWP have done well in the Euro elections.

I'm sorry for Robin - she's been as good a local representative on the council as any other, but suffered from the national party effect. I long for the day when all local councillors are independents (as they are in many places in Europe), but I'm not holding my breath.

Yes, that's right, Southwark Council, the common sense choice (for middle class liberals) fantastic custodians of our wellfare!


Council tax arrears @ 23/02/2014 - Almost 8 mil ? [?7,960582.95p]


Rent arrears @ January this year ? just over ?16 million.


Can't wait for the GE!
