  1. I'm amazed at any sense of tolerance with these little buggers. They don't belong in the city as they don't play an activ part in the food chain, where as in the countryside they'll no doubt have a fair share of rabbits. They spread disease and why people feed them is beyond me. We're calling southwark pest control and if they do anything we'll someone licensed to dispose of them.
  2. what a bunch of conts. the only thing you can do is of course lock your doors, but hat goes without saying, plus always know where the local police stations are!
  3. What the hell was he doing out on his own?!
  4. How big, human, badger or fish sized? Someone will get a feed at least.
  5. If someone does it outside your house, it could be a human, hide with a baseball bat or axe in waiting?!
  6. I live in London and love it, I also accept the fact that crime is rife as it has been for the past 400 years. I'm also a Manc and can vouch that it's as bad in fact you feel more threatened but they don't live on top of as they do down here. One issue is on earnings, that really is tosh as it's eaten up by living costs. Crime is fact of life in the cities and towns in the uk and will no doubt seem worse as population density gets more intense. However if society spells out what behaviuor is acceptable and what isn't then themorale highground will always count!
  7. They came round last night at 9pm at the bottom of Barry Road, I said no politley. I felt harsh as I'm all for young poeple helping out charities but I wouldnt trust anyone as far as I could throw them on door to door tactics, especially in london! I felt as a guy he wasn't going to hassle me but I was polite nonetheless, then felt harsh and donated ?5 online to a homeless charity. They get your guilt either way!
  8. he'll be looking for bank statements etc or addresses for cloning etc.
  9. had this last year, ask her to bring the bottle or food to your house to heat it up, that'll shut her up. Then follow her outside shortly afterwards and clock the reg. scheming f^ckers, get a job like the rest of us.
  10. What I like is the fact that the coucnil would like to do something here. This is a great opportunity to develop some form of identity. North Cross Road is or has the potential to be one of London's hidden gems, you just need to look at Columbia Road for inspiration. Columbia Road has a pretty clear identity, developed over time by stall holders and miniimal interference from the council. The council should ideally engage some fairly progressive and respresentative poeple from the community to develop a brief which could be responded to by some of London's great creative talent... not a council contractor?
  11. sure we should all be tolerant and encourage a lack of respect for other people's property? Long live the liberals!
  12. The council are great at bulding relationships with the local community and helping local businesses in hard times. t%ssers.
  13. here here! I think we can manage something a bit more daring like Carribean or South American (Peruvian is stunning!).
  14. here here! banish the scroteville that is Iceland!
  15. check this for live timetable news... http://www.southernrailway.com/your-journey/live-running-information/EDW/departures/
  16. bring back a chinese please! the chinese/south-east asian food offer in ED is pretty pants. could we not tempt busaba or cha cha moon down here?!
  17. which part of tyrrell road, is it the flats opp Hindmans Road, if so I've noticed also, proper scrotes. Like the Omid Djali sketch try to do it back to him?
  18. I don't mean to blow smoke but I just want to say a big thank you for politicains and councilors for paying time to listen and speak on this forum... a real step in the right direction!

    Fight at EDT

just when your faith gets restored in the British public, there's always a few who forget how to have a drink without throwing their toys out. However, no part of Britain is immune, the rural towns are even worse! If they get caught by the police they'll be treated fairly harshly, you can be assured. Big crackdown on this stuff over the last 5 years.
  20. it was me, apologies I have tourettes,
  21. he's there every two weeks.
  22. echo all of the above, the Police also echo that this area (touch wood) is very quite with regards to crime. Loads of buses take you to Peckham Rye station also and The Gardens is a great doctors surgery.
  23. first mate... super news. Let's do the f&ckers then, I'm always under the impression they 'get away' with it.
  24. As a dog and cat owner, I agree with Xelena. Dogs should be on leads on the street full stop, why wouldnt you? If the dog chased a cat across a road and got run over who would be complaining then? A blanket rule may be unhelpful but it's common sense anyway and it means that police or community support have something to back thenm up when dealing with scrotes (which is who we're dealing with here, yet again).
  25. Ian brown, what a c*ck, I can't believe that guys arrogance. Don't you just want to shake him, wake up! I assume he doesn't try to commute to town every day from ED, the 185 will get to Victoria in an hour... while training for the marathon I ran it in 40 minutes, what a joke! The amazing thing is that these guys are obssessed with the figures that stack up behind the ELL, but miss some truths along the way... get this stat, the sale of bikes at Evan Cycles has doubled in South London in 2008 partly because people have given up on the transport system and do we dont blame them?!
