My final comment on this. Agree with Jah and GG about the PMs, name and shame, as that is very poor, and cowardly form. Aside from that wolf, I just don't think you're quite getting the point Jah is making, there is a world of difference between being cheeky, and some of the stuff you come out with. It's about lines, and respect for people. Anyway, enough, we shall all raise a glass and move on.

Lets be honest, lots of staff in all public seats jobs take sickies, it is true. However, a lot of sickness absense is genuine, and I believe that management structures, and stupid targets set by a government, but not supported by them, are the main reasons.

Sorry BBW, I find you funny at times, quite often even, but in equal measures you try far far too hard, and it's just not necessary. From what I can see here, Sean has offered nothing to this debate, other than telling HAL how to post, and ignoring the fact that Huguenot has probably been the more aggressive (passively of course) of the two. Not on, isn't this the chair's job? Not trying to start a row here, but it was pointed out to me, which is the only reason I bothered opening this thread. I agree with Huguenot more often that not, but I think there is a habit of smashing his points across in a bullish manner, and that is what I see on this thread.

And if it wasn't Quids, who was the surprisigly young looking bloke I was introduced to towards the end of the evening. I probably said something like "Hello, sorry, I'm drunk" before running away in order to avoid having to try talking.

Now that I would turn out for! I think I met Quids at the last drinks, but I was so twatted by the time I got there, I really can't remember much other than having The Fear!

Sometimes when I see the way motorcyclists behave, I think to myself, not that they deserve to get hurt, but that they really would've deserve much sympathy. Obviously not all of them, before anyone jumps on me, but some should have their licenses taken away.
