  1. My dirty shop from the Tesco express is usually Steak & Kidney Pukka Pie Large jam doughnut 4 pint size Stellas (normally I wouldn't choose Stella, but the selection is rubbish) Bottle of Bulmers A bottle Yop (either flavour) Small pack of golden vaginia pack of large siver rizla Now that is a good night in, I can tell you!
  2. I am gutted. Was really looking forward to buying the new Ghostbusters game, and the release date has been put back to October/Novermber! :( Not sure why, as it seems finished, and all the sites have full reviews... Incidently, the Wii version has better marks than 360 or PS3.
  3. Last year, when camping with some mates for a stag do, we had a bbq, and a mate introduced us to Branston Hot Chilli Jalapeno Relish. It is the stuff of kings!!!
  4. It's amazing how happy they all look about flying in to the remote outback to find someone dying. Must be a right giggle.
  5. Same here.
  6. Bit harsh for you Mark, is Rob your mate or something? Personally, I'm with Kanga, I think he looks and sounds like the son of , the mockney tw@t!
  7. He is fit apparently. I think Cook needs to do something half decent this match!
  8. Wow, they have 9 bands these days? Back in my day (waaaaay back in '89) I remember them taking 3 band 3s from the year above me, then 3 band 1s from my year, from my primary school. There has always been a perception over the place because it was once a grammar school and all that, but relistically, it has always seemed to take a good mix of kids from all over. People tell me I took an exam to get in, and I really really don't remember that. I remember the interview, but not a test. When I went, it was still Haberdashers Aske's Hatchem Boy's School. Officially turned in to Hatchem College when I was about year 10 (which incidently, was also around the time we started being "year 10" instead of 4th years). I personally like the idea that some places are set aside for musical kids. I guess the problem is, that more "middle class" kids will fall in to that category, and primary schools should do more music, so the "working class" kids can have a go. My parents never would have been able to afford lessons for me, but thankfully I got trumpet lessons at St John's (not that that made a difference getting in to Aske's in those days). Still find it weird seeing girls on the train through New X Gate wearing "boys school ties". Doesn't seem right to an old fella (all of 30) like me.
  9. HAL, I meant Jadzia and / or Ezri! Either would be good.
  10. I liked Dax in DS9. Voyager and Enterprise were a bit naff.
  11. It was too complicated, you had to actually think about it, like a championship manger game. Would rather do a simple one, pick your team, make an occasional change if you can be bothered.
  12. Via's just it, I am. Used to be a real Treky(next gen).

Very fair point. Axl Rose, of my favourite rock band, is pretty much the king of tools.

I'm a bit too young, but do like a fair few Smiths songs. Think he's a fucking tool though, if I'm honest.
  15. Well, yeah, that goes without saying (if you're around the age you or I am). Other than that though. Lots and lots of people agree with you RE Bladerunner, but it never "did it" for me. Perhaps I should have another look, I tried twice (directer's cut), but was years and years ago.
  16. Plough gets my vote, and if it's "too far away" for anyone in East Dulwich, then frankly, they are lazy feckers, and most probably need the exercise!
  17. Good point batman, f**k the lodge!
  18. In terms of "classics" that I just didn't really enjoy. Apocalypse Now / Platoon (just don't really dig war films) The Graduate Shane (not a western fan, but this one is especially dull) Blade Runner - Dullsville
  19. They only turned up because they were promised free booze! Haven't been seen since. Lodge does seem a good option, but we'd have to get them to give us free stuff, as their bar is bloody expensive!
  20. It could gee the team on to give him a winning finale... He's the type who will want to go out with a bang.
  21. Party sounds like a fab idea! :)-D
  22. Flintoff retiring from test cricked after the Ashes.
  23. Aske's as I knew it is long gone. Don't know where you get this idea from. Yes, it has always been very popular, and lots of middle classes would want their kids to go there, but it has always taken kids from various backgrounds.
  24. Dude where's my car, was terrible, except for this scene, which still makes me laugh out loud!
  25. I'll always remember this vile woman I trained with, commenting on 9/11, "my lasting image of today will be all that paper money fluttering down from the sky". I couldn't believe what I was hearing!
