  1. I'd heard ?18m, which still seems a lot. That said, I read yesterday that he's only behind Drogba & Rooney for league goals in the last 5 years or something like that. Even though the fans never took to him at Spurs, he was still their top scorer for at least one season.
  2. It's not like he's just made that up out of nowhere. Arming Iraq: A Chronology of U.S. Involvement
  3. This is a bit NIMBY. I don't see why people think they should be consulted about what goes on on the public highways near their houses.
  4. I hadn't read that it's all sorted, so ignore my last post.
  5. Bless Ray, id was a fine player, but possibly no the brightest penny in the pound.
  6. Why dont you pay for it. But on the condition that she takes out insurance for it, and pays for that each month.
  7. My mum looks after our 20 month old daughter on Mondays, and has been taking her to TippeeToes in the ceramics cafe on East Dulwich Road at 10am. It's drop in, and costs 3 quid. Mum says it's really nice.
  8. Okay, first of all, this forum is not making any decisions about anyhting!! Secondly, do you really think a big supermarket chain would give a toss anyway? If they want to open in an area, they will, if they dont, they won't.
  9. Ha ha! That is a top post.
  10. I've not seen any results today, and really looking forward to watching motd tonight (even though I'm well aware I might be watching my team lose), been ages since I've not known any results. Haven't even read any posts on this thread.
  11. And with regards finding this thread, it has been in the top few threads nd the main section since u started. You'd have to be trying to avoid it in order to miss it.
  12. Good bit of trolling Tarot. Apparently it was terror they were going to war with though, not Saddamn.
  13. I wish Quids was here, would like to know what he thinks about the Grant / Mick's boyfriend situation. Thought Grant dealt with the media in a very dignified way today.
  14. Moos Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I scorn your revised calendar, mainly on the > grounds that it's moved me from a cool sign to a > naff one. I second that! Stupid crabs. Named after a horrid illness, and make people's pubes itch. I'll stick with Leo thanks.
  15. I know Anna loves Rafa, but Mick's love for O'Neil is unrivalled! Anyway, I thought Liverpool handled Woy's sacking badly, but if this story is true, then it shows a spectacular amount of disrespect for Grant!
  16. Karter, what we charge depends on several factors, and we give each enquiry an individual (and very fair) quote.
  17. Follow the link a posted near the top of this thread then.
  18. I don't get why anyone would want to throw a party for the service men and women. Grot that a bit like saying "sorry it's so rotten over there, but we're thinking of you whilst having a great old time".
  19. Cybex pallas. It was a which best buy. It is so easy to put in, and our daughter seems really happy in it. We dont drive either, so nice to have one that we can pop in to other people's cars with ease.
  20. So Santa Cruz likely to return to Blackburn because he wants to remain in the North West. Wright Phillips to come down to London and join Fulham or West Ham. I honestly wouldn't mind a punt on either of them at Liverpool right now.
  21. Well he deserves it more than ginger spice deserved to be called a U.N. Ambassador.
  22. Is it mornings as well as afternoons? (like the Crystal Palace one)
  23. And if so, is it on today?
  24. Ladymuck, he was a great footballer. Whether that made him a great man or not is a very different thing. For me, it doesn't. A fair point, but that is just because of the time. Had Beckham been around then, would he have been a better man in some people's opinion? Or, had Best been around now, would he be just like David Beckham?
