  1. I'm told the MIND shop is very good.

  3. I used to go to Charlton a lot, and they're my second team. It's all gone very wrong. They dropped out of the prem in the worst possible year, and lost out on the big parachute payments. As a result, things went from bad to worse. Can't see them being anywhere near the prem again for a long time. The Valley is a lovely ground to watch a bit of football.
  4. Although I suppose she may not have turned up without the publicity. Anyway, alls well that ends well.
  5. I tried an autotune, but as before, arrow appears in the list, but when selected, it says Not Available.
  6. Link to St Anthony's form here Dulwich Village website isn't finished, so no form there.
  7. I'm with KidKruger, why give all our hard earnt to dealers from out of town. Lets all get in to the ED "Vibe", by smoking locally sourced weed, whilst eating chocolate brownies from the ED Deli.
  8. The food is definitely way way overpriced for what it is.
  9. Perhaps part of the reason for that, is that woment in their 20s, with jobs, and live-in boyfriends, don't tend to go missing very often, unless something sinister has happened. As Huguenot has already pointed out, a teenager in London going missing is not really that rare. I just think that all this talk of race and class is very unhelpful. I am not naive, but I think people are barking up the wrong tree here. Anyway, fingers crossed she turns up safe!
  10. Fair enough. As she's old skool, she may also still think of the Palmerston, as the crappy old pub it used to be (I know I do sometimes). That said, I've eaten there 3 times, first for a friend's wedding, which was great. Second, or a Sunday roast, which I didn't think was great, but that is because I basically think there is only so much you can do with a roast. Most recently was just before christmas, with the family, and I have to say, it was awesome. Bill was about ?220 for 5 of us though!
  11. Sorry, but you're being a conspiracy theorist.
  12. Have to say though, there are plenty of ways off of Felbrigg, so dont think they'd really have cause for complaint. Ulverscroft is different, although to be honest, I don't think it's too narrow for a 3 point turn. Anyway, none of it is gong to happen, was just me voicing my ideas for the market, because, as popular as it is, it always strikes me as a bit of a wasted opportunity.
  13. For the record, I was only suggesting it be closed between ll lane, and archdale, as that is where not of the market is. Sorry I wasn't clear, but there would be no point closing it past Felbrigg.
  14. If you were looking local, have you considered The Palmerston? Not sure if it's posh enough, but the food is great, so long as it's not a roast.
  15. Agreed, and it might show that there really is no need to pay excessively high prices for some fruit and veg!
  16. I think extending it is a very good idea. In fact, I think the road should be closed to traffic. Sunday opening definitely a good thing, especially if it was more of a farmers market, or a French market,
  17. And lets be honest, some of the independent shops in ED are shite.
  18. I agree with that too, but I thought puzzled was pretty rude. And it wasn't the word bonkers that is out of order, it was the bit about people not taking their medicaiton, which is suggesting they're mentally ill (because they have a different point of view).

So if people dont agree with you, they're deeply argumentative, and mentally ill? Sorry, but haven't you just posted the most argumentative post on this thread?
  20. By the way, there are lots of rumours that a waitrose is going to open on the old Greyhound site in Sydenham, so you could all just nip up there.
  21. Fair enough James, I just thought the tone of wor original post was off. I can believe the term aspirational comes from developers, but I think usingge word here immediately gave me, and perhaps others, the wrong idea, as it does sound snobbish.
