  1. A small little Cr?perie somewhere in the backstreets of Bordeaux... Truly one of the nicest meals I've ever had!
  2. He hasn't been knighted, st Keef meant Saint Keef. I agree with the zombie theory though! ;-)
  3. Damn it, I wanted Claire's team to lose and for her to get fired. She only won because of that jammy last minute order! Was glad Lucinda did quite well, although she was silly in the board room trying to use that other horrible girl (helen) as back up against Jennifer, as just last week they were fighting, and she was never going to admit to bitching and stick up for her. Would have rather seen Jennifer go, but she probably does have the more potential. Was TV Gold when she got back to the house and said "apparently I'm Icey", only for all of them to say nothing and try not to make eye contact!
  4. Brixton was always me favourite venue, but in the last couple of years I've had some crap nights there. However, last time I went it was a lot better. It's still a hell of a lot better than Hammersmith Apollo and Shep Bush Empire, I hate both of those!!!
  5. Seen this really late as I haven't even looked at the main area of the forum for ages. Anyway, UC, Best of luck to you, if you ever open that guitar shop, let me know when you get that rare SG in for me! ;-) RE: Quids (a really annoying name for ????), I agree with Asset, I don't think he's overly negative, I find his posts funny. I also don't think he was being nasty on this thread, he made it clear that his predictions are regrettable, but he was being realistic.
  6. Brendan I believe that "ere" was known as Madchester :-S Okay, Pixies, Radiohead, Franz f**king Ferdinand, Pink Floyd (except wish you were here / shine on you crazy diamond).
  7. Damn it, I want a unique saint! I say when he kicks the bucket, we have St Keef Richards as England's saint!
  8. Keep up Sean, young ratty will be at Wembley! :)-D
  9. lozzyloz Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Keef . . . the sheep? Huh? :-S Oh all right then, just so long as you keep the Welsh out.
  10. Anyway, for the record, I think Man U will indeed go through. Even if they lose tonight, I feel sure they will get at least one away goal, and finish it off at home. Then we will have an all English final, which is a good thing. Obviously I shall be hoping Liverpool are part of that final... Should they not be, then I won't really care who wins, I shall just hope to enjoy the match and support the team that seem to be struggling more (I tend to do that if not watching The Pool, guess it comes from watching Southampton games with Fear N' Boozin >:D< ). That said, I might lean towards Chelsea, because I feel rather sorry for Avram Grant, and I do quite like the fact that Liverpool have won it much more recently than Man U ;-) Should I be wrong, and Barca beat Man U, and IF Chelsea knock us out, I would genuinely support Chelsea in the final, because they are the English club, and we need more European wins. Believe it or not, I stood cheering on Arsenal a couple of years ago!
  11. Aw shucks, that was me (the sad deluded scouse dope). We had something special going back then Atila, where did the love die?
  12. Why not, you haven't got much to sing about at Arsenal at the moment so you may as well.
  13. Hurrah, happy birthday to the wise questioning one.
  14. Just going back slightly, I'd like to join Jah in defending my ability to hold my drink! As for the rest of it, Happy St George's day for those who care. I am a bit patriotic, and would say I'm a proud English person, but I still couldn't really give a toss one way or the other about today.
  15. Oh well, IF we do get knocked out by Chelsea this year, we'll win nothing... Maybe I should start supporting a successful North London team. Spurs here I come! :-S
  16. And like the Murphy's...
  17. It's simply because the marketing people at Guinness are very clever, and St Patrick's Day is actually Guinness day.
  18. And to think, neither Anna or I said a gloating word after the Arsenal game. But silly me I forgot that Arsenal have all the bad luck, and are picked on by the whole world, bless their cottons.
  19. What a cruel finish. Not over yet, but the one thing I wanted last night was a clean sheet. That has made it really tough for us now! By the way, did anyone keep count on how many times Drogba fell over last night?
  20. Keef

    Quiet room...

*Wonders in to Quiet Senate in full centurian uniform* *Ushers in several new wives picked up in Gaul* *Ponders excuses for Mrs Keef* *Samples wine, but decides to crack open a bottle of JD instead* *Turns to KK* "Boar's testicle for the lady?"
  21. I have never !got" Harry Hill. He's actually doing some gigs at The Hob in Forest Hill on the 1st of May, and another date or 2 I think...
  22. Dirty Old Town - The Pogues
  23. I don't know how old I want to get, I see some people through my work who are well in to their 90s and still full of life. I've alwats said I'd want killing if my mind went, but who is to say that actually it's not a blissfull trip? I don't know, the thought of falling apart scares me, so I guess I should actually start to take care of my mind and body whilst they're still in pretty decent nick, but it is just such a boring way to live! :)-D
  24. Winky face or not, I know you well enough to actually believe that! >:D
  25. I'll be heading over to my friend's pub in Balham for it... I'd rather watch the match at home actually, but it's a birthday, so friends come first. Feel quite confident about tonight actually... This could be a bad thing, as I was convinced we'd go out to Arsenal...
