Went there one Sunday with Mrs Keef's nephew... It was hell on earth with a hangover, but have to say they were absolutely lovely with kids!

Blinder, I'm not sure I can agree about the improvements in schools and hospitals, it's more that they have created a way to show how good or bad a school is without actually giving much thought at all to the education of the child. Same for hospitals, and same for most local authority services. With regards Brown, I feel safer with him at the healm than with Blair, and I think he is a good man. However, I truly fear that the tory spin machine might do a 97 Blair, and send him packing... I will be voting Labour for the first time if it really loks like that could happen...

RE: Anelka, I think it was his brother really that got him in to the situation that saw him leave Arsenal, and since then he has had a bad reputation, but I don't think he's as bad as all that.

A lot of what goes on in China really really shocks me, but then compare that to a woman being physically punished for becoming pregnant out of wedlock, as a result of rape, and you start to realise just how nasty a fuc-ed up world we really live in!

In other news, the scum that is Robbie Savage looks like he's on his way to Derby, which I have to say is a good signing for them. Chelsea have confirmed they've put in a bid for Anelka, which Bolton have turned down... An improved bid is expected.

I openly admit that I probably couldn't stay dry for a week, 2 days is rare and not enjoyable. I am trying to eat lots of fruit as a kind of clenser, and I plan to try and be reasonably sensible during the week, but met Fear N' Boozin in the CPT after work yesterday, so that went straight to sh!t ;-)

Piers I'm relying on you to tell me when a game worth buying comes out on the Wii, as I don't really keep up with such things... I actually need to finish Metroid Prime and then to Metroid Prime 2 for the Gamecube which has been sat unplayed for ages whilst I've been doing other stuff, then I can play the new Metroid for Wii. I also need to get my Wii online, as you can get the old school Super Metroid and Mario 3!
