This is one place I'm not ashamed to say I don't like. I think it is poncey, overpriced and generally shite. Maybe they realised how much money they could make selling awful half cold food to hungry stoned festival goers, they thought they were on to a winner and quality didn't matter. It would seem they forgot that people on a high street can nip home and eat, and shower, and don't have to queue for 2 hours for the loo. This is one place I really really wouldn't shed any tears for if it went.

Sorry to hear Clare, will keep a look out. It can be hard for passers by, the other week I was outside a pub in London Bridge / Bermondsey Street having a smoke, and some kids (late teens) were (it looked to me like) all about to give one lad a kicking. I watched, and took my phone out, and as soon as they saw this, they all stopped, and the "victim" said "it's not serious man, why you calling babylon?". Once I'd stopped laughing, I did think how hard it is to tell, as they all turned to me quite aggressively, and had I not been outside a pub full of my mates, I probably would have felt a bit concerned for my safety. That said, it is important that we look out for each other, and little scummers like this need to be stopped ASAP!

For Christ's sake. I'll say this again. I do not dislike or have anything at all against Green & Blue okay? I don't know why anyone would dislike it, maybe they're offended by the colour of the sign, or they didn't like the staff, I don't know, but again, if someone doesn't like it, that's their look out, and it doesn't say anything at all about the sort of person they are, or what they'd like to see on Lordship Lane. It just says they don't like Green & Blue, end of.

Good old Cathy, she did a lovely version of Waterloo Sunset at some stage in the 90s. When I think about defining pop moments, I think of Thriller (the song itself not the whole album, although you could argue both), and I guess Wannabe (horrific as it is).

I didn't see it, but got texts from a friend who was watching it on telly (which in many ways is better than being there), and he was saying it was a great game. Aaaanyway, it's interesting the news are all saying Robinson could be out the door because he was left out yesterday. Loads of sides play different keepers in this competition, and you don't hear that about them... That said, most team's keepers haven't been on the sort of form Robinson has of late, bless his cottons. Luton have had to let 5 of their players go, so if Liverpool can't beat them now, we don't deserve to win anything ever again!

Know what you're saying, but once the word is saved, it remembers it, so after sending texts in say the first month, it will pretty much remember your lingo.

Thing I like about SE's is the fact the seem to have good shelf lives. A lot of my previous phones have started going a bit mental before a year is up. I've had my current one for almost 18 months and it's still going strong... Which reminds me, I need an upgrade in a month or 2... Keep us informed bob!

Seriously, sax could be very useful. The drummer plays a bit, and is often saying he would love some sax in the band! I do have a keyboard which isn't bad, but I'd like someone with a proper good one with all sorts of decent symph sounds. That way we could play loads of 80's, Killers, all sorts!

Have just posted the following in the wanted section, but thought I'd put it here too. We are a new covers / function band, born out of the music at my wedding. The idea is to have the fun of playing music, and make a few quid at the same time. We currently have Guitar, drums, bass, 2 trumpets, trombone, male and female vocals. We are playing all sorts, from soul, to rock, to pop. It his all going really well, we're getting gigs, and are very pleased with our progress. The one thing that we feel could improve us is a good keyboard player, as that would open up loads of new possibilities! We were thinking a female who could do some backing vocals would be ideal, but at the end of the day, if you can play well, then your gender / singing ability really doesn't matter! One thing that is important is that you have your own keyboards, as the only one I have isn't really up to the quality that we are after. We have the PA that it could go through, so amps aren't so important. We are all experienced musicians, and we are taking this very seriously, so we're not looking to waste anyones time. If you're interested, PM me on here, or call Matt on 07920556331 and tell him you're responding to Keith's ad.

Think he's already counted himself out saying that he's enjoying the TV work for the time being. I suspect he'll do his coaching badges, and wouldn't be surprised if he was England striking coach at some stage.

I know people shouldn't go over their limit if they can help it, and should take responsibility for themselves, but as Brendan says, the banks could make it impossible for people to go over limits, then they still get the interst from the overdrafts, but they are behaving in a morally correct way. Just heard on the news that someone has posed as the chairman of Barclays, and drawn ?10k from his account!!! Good on ya fella!!! >:D<

Yes it is great, Slash is there, nuff said! ;-) Seriously, I saw them a couple of years ago at Hammersmith, and it was great. Played a few G N'R classics (not the really big hits, more things like Mr Brownstone), and a few Stone Temple Pilots tunes, as well as most of the first album. Now they've released the second album, they may do less of the old stuff, but I'd still say it would be a cool gig. Good old fashioned guitar rock at it's best! Was thinking about it myself, but need to save pennies. Going to see Korn in March which should be interesting.

Brendan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > If you ask your bank not to let you go overdrawn they have to set you account up that way. That is what I have always done and I have never had any trouble. I've done that in the past too. Only problem is, if you tell them you don't want to be able to go overdrawn, and they set it as a ?0 limit (meaning that the cash machine will not let you have a penny overdraft), it has a negative effect on your credit rating, as this is something they usually do as a punishment rather than because people are trying to be sensible and have requested it.

I don't need to get over myself, and I didn't say anything against G&B. I just pointed out, quite rightly, that you can't label someone as a certain type of person just because they don't like Green and Blue. I don't really drink a lot of wine, so don't really go there I have nothing against it, I just don't use it. Does that mean I am some sort of chav who wants pound shops all the way down the road? I think it is in fact you who needs to get over yourself.

Sean, Dalglish is a f**king rubbish manager!!! At Liverpool he was a figurehead, the team was actually managed by the "boot room", and he was the face for the media. Great player, and at that time, I probably could have won everything with that team. Blackburn were the first team to effectively buy the title. Since then he's failed everywhere, think of Celtic. Not sure Robson is that much better really. That said, they need to get someone in and stick with him. Big Sam was Freddy Shepheard's man, which is probably why he's gone. They also need to stick 2 fingers up to the idiot fans who seem to think they will get the right man and suddenly be top of the world without any time to build anything! Currently they are behind Villa, Spurs, Portsmouth, Man City and Blackburn to name but a few.

To be fair ???? sometimes you don't have much choice. I was up most of last night with a bastard toothache, having broken a tooth. I now have a dental appointment later that I don't have the money for, it being January and all that. I will knowingly be drawing money from my account, knowing that I'll be charged for it, but I don't see as I have a lot of choice. Dentists are also thieving c**ts! :X

Some people may not like G&B, or some of the other businesses around, that doesn't automatically make them horrid scum who want pound shops and nail bars (whatever they are), and amusement arcades.

Well it's the only outfit I remember her in, and she'd be good at coming out of the sea, of which there would be plenty!
