I know there are lots of cat owners on here, so I thought I'd pick your collective brains. We've decided to get a cat (or kitten, actually). I had cats as a kid but this is the first time I've had to be responsible for finding/choosing one and getting it settled in the home. Does anyone have any advice? And, does anyone know of any kittens that need a good home?

I stick to a quid. My haircut never costs more than a tenner (including tip), so I reckon a quid's more than enough!

We're writing our lim'ricks online And taking a line at a time Sometimes we slip up With lines suggested that don't scan or even rhyme - just like this one. But mostly it works out just fine. :D

'Should of' gets my goat, but not as much as a lyric by some dull, recent band: 'I wish I was somewhere else than here'. My message to whoever wrote that being: No, Twunto. It's either 'somewhere else' or 'somewhere other than here'. And if you can't make that scan then rework your line until it does, you lazy sod. (Aaaaaaaaaaand breathe...)

Yup - no problem with my post (at the moment), and I'm on Landells too. But it used to be a lot worse when I first moved here about 3 and a half years ago.

It was a good night. We came a very creditable second an won a bottle of wine. I drank a bit too much beer. There's a limerick in there somewhere, but for the moment it's beyond me.

Can I buy an environmentally friendly flaming torch somewhere on LL, do you think? I'd hate to think of the carbon footprint of one of the old-fashioned ones. -
You're beginning to win me round on this 'walking' that you speak of. ;) Being able to get the 40 from its first stop would be a big plus. Guaranteed seat all the way. Settle down for a read, and then a stroll after. Plus the chance of a shower if need be on really hot days. Hm... not too shabby after all.

On a lovely day like today, yes, that'd probably be quite nice. On other days... Have just heard that the new place does have showers and secure bike storage, which is a definite plus.
