What a great idea for a thread! Must stay away if I want to get any work done, tough. But before I go... A lasso: use it! (Punctuation added gratuitously for effect, obviously.)
Some of us already know this site well. For those who don't, and who like photography (or even just looking at pictures), then http://www.flickr.com/ is, quite simply, great.
It's starting again... Clicking mark forum read, with only one post marked as new (and even that shouldn't be) ends up with everything being marked as new when I go back in.
Sorry - parking in disabled bays is something that just gets me angry, as I said earlier. I'm not saying you're a bad person, it's just that particular bit of behaviour I dislike so much. Hope that was clear.
A bit more: have tried using the 'mark forum read' link from the homepage. No joy. Now entire threads are coming up as new. Have also tried logging out and back in; also no joy. Edit: but coming out of Firefox and back in sorted it. Looks like it was my end. It's like a mini adventure.
Just noticed that some posts in a few threads are staying marked as new even though they shouldn't be any more. Not sure whether the problem's at my end or yours.
I think it's terrible behaviour; whether you'd expect he could get away with it or not does nothing to change that. If he's going to accept responsibility for his actions then he can pay the fine and leave it at that, but I don't think he deserves any sympathy for it or has any justification in moaning about it.
This sort of thing actually makes me quite angry. The time of day has nothing to do with it, and you cannot know that there weren't any disabled people trying to use that space while you were inside the shop. Your were selfish and now you're being punished, simple as that. I have no sympathy for you whatsoever.
I don't think 27 July would be good for me. Really want to make it to this one, as I missed the Hoopers one. Plus it's not every day the EDF drinks comes to the end of your road.
Sony Ericssons are great. Mine's the only non-Nokia I've ever really liked. I've got a K800i; does nice pics as well as all the other 'talking to people' gubbins.
I've seen my fair share of the hole-in-the-ground horros in France. They're still out there. This was deep in rural France, mind. I wouldn't expect to find them in the cities. I like France, though, and am willing to forgive the odd procelain abberation.
