  1. Braaaaaiiiinnnn... but my zombie days are firmly behind me. TBH in china I often had no idea what I was eating, but most of it scared me, and I'm pretty sure some of it still moved. I believe Huguenot can top me on this one, he knew!!!!
  2. My vote was 1 of something like 64 for the Partido No Fumar in the Madrid Ayuntamiento elections a couple of years ago. So I do have a track record of voting lost causes in weird elections.
  3. just saying that it's difficult to give Gordon a bloody nose in an election that nobody cares enough about to even bother voting. Can't say as I have the foggiest what the issues are in this election except that most parties are eurosceptic, whatever that means, but it's only a matter of time before we're going to Europe cap in hand, asking for investment and/or subsidies which we'll be unable to provide having spunked all our money (and our children's) on the bail out.
  4. If a politician is given a bloody nose and nobody cares enough to bother to reporting it, does it effing matter? Well, unless it's a man with a mullet punching John Prescott.
  5. Blimey Alan, an Alice Cooper fan. This world is indeed a strange place, I had you down more for Perry Como or Val Doonican. And Moos, don't rise to the bait, see earlier post "Despite all the assoicated(sic) BS the sculptures are worth a visit.", when the only one making the BS assoication(sicish) was Mr Dale himself
  6. Can't make this one. A little gutted as FHT was very good last time, and it's always fun making Sean wobbly with Whisky!!
  7. Lol, made me chuckle there Atila!!
  8. Hear hear Quids!!!! Our concordance on this matter is of course entirely coincidental.
  9. Ha ha Ted, I'll be nominating that for post of the month!!
  10. Seriously, let's just reminisce over a pint, sounds much more fun than tantalising south east london with hints of long lost misspent youth ;)
  11. shocking, can't see a test played in Pakistan for quite some time to come.
  12. Therein lies the problem Keef. It's a tricky one ain't that the truth. I'd hate this place to be overly fussy and precious, but then erring a little on the side of caution is better than the lunatics (of any ilk) running the asylum (as we've recently seen just a bit of). I don't think every reported post is a gospel removal of said post by any stretch, but if offence has genuinely been taken, and it does seem at least a bit reasonable then they sometimes go, but sure as dammit admin team will err too. But keep debate alive keeps everything healthy hopefully and hopefully it will remain the great place it is with censorship at a minimum, but everyone realising that they have a responsibility not to personally attack or wilfully offend (though you can call me a dirty Spaniard if you like, cos I like ya!!).
  13. Here's Suggs recommending my mates' band. I suspect they took advantage of his...err....merriment. And a proper song. Electric Prunes - I had to(sic) much to dream I've thought this was "I had too much to drink last night" for years. Doh!!
  14. candj, what a wonderful post, thanks so much. Jimmy two times, for you
  15. But I have!!!! Aah the old Atari 2600, whatever happened to paddles?
  16. I had a closer look (with Brendan as it ahppened) and it's called run. I saw them loom out of the gloom on the way home late on thursday, and it's rather marvellous; couldn't stop smiling.

  20. eh? are you hearing voices SMG? Talking of which just released the really good russian submachine gun on CoD5.
  21. No, I'm sure that was G wasn't it? You could be right, as you say, holes. Suspense, suspense. Were you one of the Mad Georges then?
  22. i know what these people are talking about. I was always G though, I'm pretty sure I was never J. I hung around in J, K and L alot and some of the Zs. Oh no, I was in a J for a while, was it really 36? Come on, more clues.
