David, I think the circle is OK. It's important to be centrally placed in the circle and not off to one side. When I checked earlier today the Ticketmaster seats being offered were fairly centrally located - so I would go for it. Check on www.theatremonkey.co.uk before buying. Theatremonkey has THE best seating plans so I always go there before buying.

I wish I was a demolitions expert. I would drop it into every conversation I ever had. Then I would get some respect and get served quickly at bars. So, BBW, do you have an hourly rate? I have a few places I would like demolished, starting with my office. Do you charge extra if there are people still inside?

Oh dear, just checked, it's been on sale since September so no stalls left, only circle. Do still check the seats on theatremonkey though so that you get the best available.

Regarding Victoria Apollo .... this is a huge theatre so may I recommend that you check your seats on www.theatremonkey.co.uk before you book. My advice is to aim for the stalls in the central block. Be careful you don't get stuck at the extreme sides of the theatre as these are a bit out of it.

Jeremy - I haven't seen any of the films on your list but I'll look out for them. Definitely get the Jesse James film; there's even a cameo from Nick Cave. Very slow paced; nothing happens quickly. I fell in love with Brad Pitt when he was the hitchhiking cowboy in Thelma & Louise. I would hit the breaks real fast if I saw Mr Pitt with his thumb out.

I've seen Gone Baby Gone and I think both Afflecks did a great job. I was completely hooked by the acting and plot but ultimately I think the ending was a bit of a disappointment. Casey Affleck was in the Jesse James picture with Brad Pitt (deep sigh). I really enjoyed that but most people didn't.

That's one of my all time favourite Bowies and I really like this version. Try this version of Kashmir from the No Quarter Album, it's sublime. Goldfrapp was very much the singing pixie. Very mellow and magical. Mesmerising really. Which is very nice, but not really to my taste. I'm not often mellow. The venue was very difficult to find but the funny thing was that there were so many of us looking for us that we all strung together and arrived in a big group. Even then we had to circle it twice to find the way in. The building was lit up blue from inside and I wish they had put "look for the building lit up blue" on the tickets - it would have made the journey easier, if less fun. Definitely 10/10 for ambience though.
