  5. This would be a great title for a movie. Where are you HB?
  6. I own a lot of Vivienne Westwood clothes. I started buying them in the 80s when I lived very close to one of her shops. I don't wear most of them now but I'm slowly passing them on to friends who will cherish them and give them new life.
  7. How come I never seem to get emails offering me 20% off at Manolo Blahnik? If anyone on the forum IS getting these emails then please feel free to clogg up my in-box with them.

I don't know if this is true or not but I have heard that many of the people named in the Salem Witch trials were named by malicious neighbours who wanted to buy their land cheaply. My guess is that BNP does not ask to see photo ID/utility bill or any other KYC (know your customer) type information before signing new members up; so easy then to sign someone you don't like up as a malicious act. I'm not crying about this list going public but it is very wrong.

If it's something metal or very rock then I sing along very loudly and I actually begin to believe that I too have what it takes to be a rock star. The crushing reality is that I'm tone deaf so if it's anything quieter than the Foos or Metallica then I am actually forbidden by friends from so much as humming quietly along. It's a tragedy. I actually did an evening course once at the City Lit called "Singing for the Tone Deaf". I should ask for my money back really. I did learn all the words to "Michael Row The Boat Ashore" though. That could come in handy for something.

If I wanted to sing-a-long to something I could stay home and wait until the police came round and broke the door down.

Oh dear Lord, you will be keeping on the right side of good taste won't you? You're not thinking of straying into sing-a-long land?

  19. Only one degree of separation between Strictly and the Laughing Gnome. Who knew.
  20. Season 2 finished. Is there anyone who could loan me Season 3? I can swap for my Pedro Almodovar collection or I have CSI Vegas seasons 1 - 4. Pretty please.
  21. Did nobody offer to suck the venom out?
  22. Time to Make You Mine - Lisa Stansfield
  23. Donmar Warehouse - today is the first public booking day for the new season. The Donmar excells at everything but I think the Dolls House is worth singling out - I think Gillian Anderson is inspired casting for Nora. Please don't be put off that it's a long time ahead and you may not be able to go because you don't know what you're plans are for next year; the Donmar takes returns and because the theatre is so tiny, by the time the plays are put on they are completely sold out and the box office is grateful for returns (as is the hopeful queue that forms daily). The best place to sit is in the stalls facing the stage, then in the stalls at the side of the stage. Only go up to the circle if you really have to. https://etickets.theambassadors.com/ShowList.aspx
  24. Drunk people are always annoying - unless you're on of them. It's a golden rule.
  25. People breathing down my neck in queues. Take a step back and get out of my space.
