  5. Dear FJD, I know that song - it's Modern Love by David Bowie. Are you undermining Lyric Game? Not big or clever. OK, this one's easy peasy..... "What's a glove got to do with it?" Px

OK Ted Max you've got me on the Prince Charles thing. I would cross several roads to avoid royalty. I can't deny it. I have no TV though so have no idea what QI is. I'm still giving Stephen 100 points for loveliness.

He's adorable. I love him the most. I have wanted to meet him for a long long time (since I read his autobiography really). A friend has blagged me an invitation to a Terrence Higgins Trust dinner in the summer. Fabulous. Normally I avoid famous people but there's something vry special about Stephen Fry. What's not to like?
  9. It's very Old Testement isn't it - bit creepy
  10. I'm rescuing Lyric Game from its current chaos (yes I know, my fault) with an easy one: Cause you're my fella my guy Hand me your stella and fly

    Great Gigs

Michael Jackson fans looking for tickets need to get hold of an O2 phone and text "Jackson" to 2402. You will receive a personalised password which you can use to buy tickets in the presale tomorrow morning (11th March) at 7am (yes, 7am). http://www.o2blueroom.co.uk/Portal/Pages/Home.aspx If you are allocated seats in Level 4 then my best advice is - WALK AWAY. Honestly, it's not worth it. I personally think that the proposed 10 dates will expand to up to 30 nights. If you want to see the Man then get in and fight for your Level 1 or Arena Floor seats tomorrow morning. Good luck. I'm not a fan but to each their own. I'll be posting U2 pre-sale info as soon as it's available, but let's keep that between us (don't tell the I H8 Bono forumites). Our little secret. Shhh.
  13. Enough already guys - you're beginning to creep me out. Hate is very powerful you know? Can't you just say that he's an annoying prick and leave it at that? Chill the F out already!
  14. The Lyric thread is in tatters and it's all my fault. But Moos, this one is for you and me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjvaqVAFuLI

    Great Gigs

Guys, Chris Blackwell's fabulous Island Records is about to turn 50 and there are going to be some celebratory gigs: Amy Winehouse, Sly & Robbie, Weller, Cat Stevens, Ladyhawk, blah blah blah. Anyway, here is some more info and if you pre-register you'll be sent more details and a pre-sale: http://www.island50.com/news/#news20 Remember, if you're buying tickets for Shepherds Bush Empire, try and go for Level One.
  16. Moos I'm terribly impressed. If you're going to flounce properly then there's nothing like a red heel. They're the best.
  17. I work around Strand/Covent Garden. Lots of theatres. Coach loads of fekkers arrive every evening around tea time. After getting off their bloody coaches do they move, sensibly, to one side. Of course not. Dam this credit crunch; I've had to let my bodyguard go and it's impossible to clear a path without the help of a 7ft bruiser.
  18. I think I caused confusion when I hijacked the thread on Saturday morning - now it's chaos. I'm contrite of course, but what to do? Atila is ignored and Moos is perplexed. A stewards' enquiry is called for * * Hoochie, as in "Feck the stewards, a trip to Lourdes wouldn't give the fekkers the power of sight". Sorry - I couldn't help myself there.
  19. Spot on Snorky. Well done that man. Children learn about values from their parents and it's worrying that buying on credit (the never never as it used to be called) is so acceptable. My parents never ever bought anything on credit - the notion of credit just wasn't acceptable to them. They would be in a minority today. We do need to go back to living within our means (that sounds so old fashioned, doesn?t it?).
  20. Jah Lush Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > This one's for you Giggirl. x > > Till The Next Goodbye - The Rolling Stones Dear Mr Lush - I can't thank you enough. I was thinking of buying the new Prodigy CD (I know CDs are soooo last century but that's just me). Anyone heard it? Good? Bad? Indifferent? Don't give a fcuk?
  21. OK if we're going with *men are bastards* (and they are) then it's Kirsty McColl. Very funny lady, wrote some great songs, lovely hair, came to a premature bad end. Unfortunately, I never liked her voice so I don't have anything on my ipod I guess with. I'm out.
  22. I'm weeping. Tears on the keyboard. Are you happy now? Pour me another.
  23. OMG Moos give me a break - I've got the T-shirt. If I actually listened to those songs I would need to open a vein. I'm withdrawing now to self-harm.
  24. Sorry for the offence. It was uncalled for. I retract. Cathy Denis? Kirsty McColl, Joss Stone with a bottle of hair dye? Px
  25. OMG please say it's not the dreadlocked Mancunian guy?
