    Great Gigs

Sean - yes I think they enjoy more success in Europe than they do in the UK. They are a band that I just don't get though. If you think I should give them another hearing then post a youtube link to something that you rate and I'll have a listen when I get home tonight. In the meantime, their London gigs sell out astonishingly quickly so please use the presale link above if you want tickets. They are playing O2 in December. I know I sound like a broken record but .... PLEASE DONT' BUY SEATS ON LEVEL 4 AT THE O2. You need arena floor or Level One. Oh, and The Prodigy are playing Brixton on Saturday 16th April. I love the new CD. Here you go.... presale http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=gb_london&query=detail&event=317149&interface=o2priority&referral_id=tw_uk_buyat

    Great Gigs

Depeche Mode - not my cup of tea at all but they tend to sell out pretty quickly. Here's a pre-sale link for anyone interested in their December tour. http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/12004146EE376260?artistid=734907&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=60&did=uklnbandps
  4. Jrussel - I would disagree and say that your own general health is pertinent. I'm trying to get some insight into why your attitude to gyms is so negative and I'm failing. Also, because you've lumped gyms together with spas (and I would place them at polar opposites), I'm wondering if you know that much about the subject. From a personal point of view, gyms are a necessary evil. I want to be fit and healthy - that requires some effort on my part ? therefore I put in the work. Yes there are other options, but none of them as convenient as going to ESPN, which takes me about four minutes door-to-door. It would be marvellous if I never had to lift a finger, but that?s never going to happen. Gardening! Are you joking, really are you taking the pi**. If your post is aimed at those few people who are gym-junkies, then you should clarify. Otherwise, 3-4 40 minute sessions a week is hardly over-tasking for the average person.

    April 1st

On 1st April I will be on a flight from LA to London. I'm not fond of flying. I'm not fond of practical jokes. Please Lord let nobody at Virgin think it might be fun to combine the two.
  7. I used to ride at the Dulwich school just off the South Circular and I see it's already had mixed reviews on this thread. I wouldn't recommend them at all. They take your money then act like they are doing you a favour - I found them to be most unfriendly. Good manners cost nothing. I think you'll find that the best places are out of London

  9. Jah - so very sorry. How tragic. Hugs. I don't agree with having multiple user-names. In life people are mult-faceted so why not on the forum?
  10. I don't handle drink well. I'm a very cheap date - about three glasses and I'm gone. I tend to pinch things when I'm drunk. I stole a whip once. It turned out OK in the end though.

    Great Gigs

I am off to see the sublime Antony and the Johnsons tonight at the Albert Hall. I've had a big smile on my face since I got up this morning - such is my anticipation. Is anyone else going from ED?
  12. I've heard he's good but I have no telly. I'm going to see him on June 17th. I'm going with a friend who swears he's the best thing since sliced bread. Here... http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user?query=search&region=xxx&category=misc&search=stewart+lee
  13. Aren't you a dad yet Keef? That should suck every last remnant of free time out of your day.
  14. Oh Sean stop it. I preferred the whole FOOK OFF thing you did earlier. Truly.
  15. Interesting review PR. Did you ever see the Faith Healer, also a Brien Friel play? Another play with people sitting round talking and not doing - but it somehow works. I'm very sad about Madame de Sade. I have tickets for May. Perhaps I'll sell them on ebay (to someone who hasn't read the reviews, obvioulsy).
  16. Have just got back from the Xbox thread. You old dog Sean, didn't know you had it in you. If someone would kindly find the old virtual pub thead I'd buy you a drink. Px

  19. Boring class argument..... time to leave now. I wish I could turn the light off and lock the thread as I go, sadly I can't.
  20. Sadly Hooch, I'm not so familar with Mr Hunter's back catalogue. It was a reference to the brothers-Young, who champion me through many a session on the cross trainer down at ESPN. You can't beat a bit of metal.
