  1. Wow I got a reply in 5 minutes, seems like the person answering the emails is more on the ball than those answering the phone today! We're in a good waiting list position I think!
  2. Thank you for that Sharls, will give them a try. If anyone is interested, Bessemer Grange are having an open morning this Thursday between 9.30 and 10.30.
  3. No, It's a community school, Dog Kennel Hill!
  4. Have just called Southwark to find out where we are on the waiting list, was told to contact the school directly which I did, the school told me that thy do not hold the waiting list and to call Southwark back! To the point - Southwark say that they do not release the waiting lists until 19th April, super.
  5. Thanks for that Clux, I'm optimistic that we will get our first choice.
  6. We've been offered Bessemer Grange, not on our list and a 20min+ walk.
  7. It did crash with the secondary ones so expect nothing less this time! They do send emails at about the same time though.
  8. Best of luck to everyone hearing today! Does anyone know what time the emails come out? Is it the same as secondary admissions - 5 o'clock?
  9. How old is she? It maybe that she's just not interested, they do say 'food for fun until they're one!' meaning they don't get a great deal from solid food until they're a year, it's just about having fun and experimenting, they get most of what they need from their milk, I personally wouldn't be worried at all but then I am so laid back about these things I'm practically horizontal! Have you tried babyled weaning or finger foods?
  10. CP 1o'clock club is about 15/20mins on the 176, followed by a 10 min walk (with pram!) Am also looking for something to amuse a nearly 4 year old, and a 5 month old...
  11. Darrell Road community centre is Monday at 7pm and is deffo still on.
  12. We have our own gangsta cat down the other end of Ivanhoe, he's proper hard, has no tail and lives in a car. Explains why we don't see your feral down this end - good luck with him though!
  13. Do you mean Colyton Road? ;-D

  16. Definitely agree with a good feeding cushion. A rocker for baby, we have this one http://www.tinytotsdirect.com/baby-gifts/Fisher-Price-Linkadoos-Infant-to-Toddler-Rocker.html which is the best I have had (4 babies, numerous chairs, rockers, bouncers, swings!) Some sort of bath seat to support baby in in the bath so you can have a hand free. And you really can't have enough sleep-suits and bodysuits in newborn and 0-3 months!
  17. I suffer very badly with hayfever too, though later in the year so must be allergic to something different. My GP prescribed me nasal spray and eyedrops whilst pregnant, the nasal spray really did the job, will be getting a prescription soon as will be breastfeeding throughout my bad months, take advantage of free prescriptions and stock up now!
  18. Wow I've never seen an owl in the wild, glad it was a happy ending and very well done to the schoolboy who cared enough to alert you to it!

  21. Same here, we should be OK though as have a sibling place but that hasn't stopped him driving me crazy about it! Best of luck!
  22. Yep, just checked the allocations webpage and it says 5pm tomorrow for e-applications, postal will go out first class tomorrow.
  23. No, definitely the ED estate. Most if not all of the blocks had laundry rooms at the top. They may well have sold off other flats aswell, but that would only be speculation on my part.
  24. Hi James, Just wondering, is there a reason that Badminton House on the East Dulwich Estate hasn't been refurbished when every other block has? I don't live there, just pure curiosity! Thanks.
