  1. My 16 month old has milk and water from a Doidy cup and has done since starting solids at 6 months.
  2. I saw 102 in Sainsburys Park.
  3. We found the BabyBjorn potty chair the best, a good height if they're sitting for a while, with back support and easy to clean as it comes apart. http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?q=babybjorn+potty&rls=com.microsoft:en-US&oe=utf8&redir_esc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=9445449860127123584&sa=X&ei=XckzT9SEFKaw0QXWqr27Ag&ved=0CHMQ8gIwAw#
  4. Bessemer again? How do DKH keep getting away with not having one, they have the space!

How awful for your nephew, hope he is OK. My sons use this route to and from school and I will make sure they are vigilant. Thank you for keeping us in the know and I hope whoever did this is caught before anyone else is targeted.
  6. Brockwell was brilliant, the children and adults all had great time!
  7. Haha! I did like that one :))

Allegedly Someone got stuck in some fresh concrete on the estate behind Sainsburys.
  9. Just seen Moss from the IT crowd! :)) I win!
  10. Blimey can't a girl wear a mini skirt and heals to the park without being classed as a slag? And I know I look a bit hard wearing but to call me industrial is just plain rude. Geez people can be so judgemental, quite frankly I have been left feeling crushed and devalued.
  11. Next weeks films are Cowboys and Aliens and One Day.
  12. Oops cross posted :)
  13. It's on Thursday mornings at 11.30, term time only so should be starting again next week. They release the listings each Friday, so next week's listings will be online this Friday. Peckham Plex
  14. You could sell them on here? :) What sort of sizes are they?
  15. Hello! We back on to the railway on Ivanhoe too. In answer your questions - No it's not that noisy, it's not a freight line, very occasionally maintenance trains will go by at night but they are pretty quiet and you would only hear them if awake anyway, they are pretty rare though. You do get used to them and block them out after a while. For some reason the evening trains are squeakier than the daytime ones but again, you get used to them, and they're more of a bother in the summer months when all windows are open. It's a nice road to live on all in all, the trains really aren't an issue for us. :)
  16. Thank you :)
  17. I would have though so too, thanks!
  18. To all the Bessemer mums here, what colour skirts should I be buying? The teacher told us navy but another mum I spoke to said grey. Thanks!
  19. Ooh I think I did it!
  20. I don't have a scanner here but have tried taking a photo of the photo, though not very clear. Obv. the photo may have been taken some time before the block was built. Will try to upload the photo.

I wouldn't go that far ;-) I suspect it's early 80's to be honest but that's a hunch, I actually have a photo of the site before it was built on, I don't know what sort of year the cars in the pic are though? I do love a bit of detective work :)
  22. Welcome to the neighbourhood :) We live almost opposite and the are a fair few on here who live very close too. My husband grew up here and seems to think the building is late 80's early 90's. It used to be a chip shop pre-war but was bombed and remained undeveloped until this building went up, my husband used to play on the site as a child. If we work out a more exact year I'll get back to you.
  23. I heard Prostrateman was actually the brains behind it.
  24. And all thanks to my post ;-P
  25. Just came across this http://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/news/9197001.Lambeth_11_year_old_missing/ Not sure where in Dulwich, but worth being aware. Hopefully he's home soon.
