Possibly. Those things are pretty good, especially as the paint was trodden on, rather than brushed on, so it's probably a thin layer. No guarantees, but it might be your best bet. And some of them work from a water butt (if you have one), so would get around the hosepipe ban.

Because it seems to be normal behaviour on the EDF. Loads of people reporting stuff - not just this - that should be going straight to the police. The 'strange bloke near playground' thread a couple of weeks ago springs immediately to mind. And no one on here had mentioned the police had been informed.

Exam Question. There is a dodgy person hanging around the park, apparently surveying school children. What do you do first? a) inform the local internet forum b) inform the school c) inform the local press, or d) report the matter to the police. I mean, really, is this not obvious people?? Is this the sort of question that used to flummox adults on "Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year Old"?

Have you tried it on another computer/iTunes? That should tell you if it's a fault in the iPod or not.

Otta could be right - your old name might have been on the electoral roll before they gave people to option to stop the council selling their name on. Might just be marketing bumpf. Given your history, would it be worth picking it up (or getting a friend to) and getting the police involved early if need be? Or if it turns out to not be suspicious, putting you mind at rest.

Laser vision correction with a strong prescription - anyone done it?

I am -8.0 in one eye and investigated laser surgery a few years ago. The optician was very honest, said that I was at the border of the treatment zone (so results may not be as good as with lesser prescriptions) and that she would need to zap one third of my cornea, which sounded a little too much for my liking. So, I decided to continue with contacts and glasses. This was about 7/8 years ago, so technology has probably improved since then. -
