  1. Also, you are now not limited to just a few, as you used to be (at the library, anyway).
  2. Er, I'm still here ..... :))
  3. We were walking in Dorset and missed it all :)
  4. Jules-and-Boo Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- I don't think anyone likes Camilla Where do you get that from? Stuff you've read in the media?
  5. Abe_froeman Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I don't think we'll hear very much more from the > East Dulwich councillors on this forum. And you base that positive contribution on what evidence, exactly?
  6. I have a gnome in my garden. He is called Lupin Grommett. He is forty years old :)
  7. 4 December 2006 !!!! Blimey !!!! I only came across the forum by chance when I googled a local issue to find out the background. It's been (mostly) very useful for many things - thanks admin and mods!

Apart from the hideous thing they did to the pond :(

  10. I used iD until recently, and never had any problems around ED.

Again You think it's "petty bickering" to suggest that reporting suspicious behaviour to the police is a good idea? You have a strange idea of petty bickering :))
  12. Maybe check first if you are specifically going to see the animals. We took my grandkids there a few years back, and the day we went there were hardly any animals there, because they'd all been taken to some event somewhere else.

Oh thanks, I'll have a look, never noticed Scotch pies in there. I think I'll give the green frogs a miss though :))

  15. I have been there with one of my sisters, who is a member. It's a great place to meet and have a coffee before going to an exhibition or whatever. There is also food, though a much smaller choice than in the main restaurant. Also, although I am not a member, they let me in happily when I arrived first. ETA: Just reread your post, which must have been edited after I responded, and now I'm not sure whether I went to the old or the new members' room! Whichever, it was very pleasant!
  16. It is perfectly possible both to start a thread on here AND to alert the police. Most people don't read this forum, I imagine. And the reason for calling the police to report suspicious behaviour would have been precisely to prevent a crime.

  18. Sorry, duplicate post.

I have never found it difficult to opt out of unwanted emails.
  20. Sadly we have to send you a form to do this, KK and PGC xxx
  21. We do use MailChimp but only changed to it relatively recently and migrated over a list of nearly 1500 names :(
  22. Yes, it's a pain for people like us (The Goose Is Out!) with an existing mailing list of people all of whom have already chosen to be on it. We've got to ask them all to opt in again, even though they already have.
