You don't need it to vote, do you, PGC?
-
How about if you keep your tomato sauce in the cupboard and your curry paste in the fridge?
-
Is that the Co-op in Lordship Lane, maxxi?
-
Blimey, when I saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be a deep metaphysical discussion :)) How disappointing :))

I came up Green first, then Lib Dem second with Labour a very close third. I don't like Ken Livingstone much but on the other hand I don't want Boris to get back in, so I think I'm going to vote Green with Labour as my second choice as I don't think the Lib Dems have much of a chance.

I've seen people being verbally abusive on Lordship Lane, should I avoid that area as well? I think I'll just stay at home in case somebody verbally abuses me somewhere.

Someone told me last night there was a website where you could answer questions about your priorities for London and it would tell you which candidate met them, or something like that, anybody know the address of it? I've tried googling but nothing came up.

"Special features: The grey squirrel frequently has patches of reddish-brown coloured fur, and we often get asked if this is the product of cross breeding with red squirrels. It isn't. In fact grey squirrels are more often half grey and half brown." http://www.uksafari.com/greysquirrels.htm Colour anomalies - Squirrels ETA: Bloody hell, that albino grey squirrel is a bit frightening :))
-
Grey squirrels' fur does go a bit reddish sometimes - I think it depends on their age or the time of year. If it was an actual red squirrel I'll eat my hat. It wouldn't survive a day round here! Did it have tufty ears?

I'm not a huge > fan of co-op but this is the only chicken I trust > to buy locally. xxxxxx Sainsbury's at Dog Kennel Hill sell both free range and organic chicken, including pieces. Their free range stuff is reasonably priced. I don't think Co-op's 6 skinless breasts for ?3.50 can possibly be free range in the sense that I understand it. I personally would not knowingly buy chicken which was kept in a barn, whether they could roam about in it or not.

This book is quite good at helping you to think in a focused way how your skills and experience could be used in other lines of work: What Color Is Your Parachute 2012 It's got mixed reviews on Amazon, the main criticism being that it is "too American", but I think for somebody looking to change career rather than wanting advice on job seeking/getting, it is very useful. Good luck!

How much does it cost to sponsor a bed, Monica?

BrandNewGuy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > TfL's fine for bus, tube, tram and Overground > info, but useless for rail in my experience... xxxxxxx Yeh they don't seem very joined up. The TfL site said there was no rail service between Norwood Junction and somewhere or other, but nothing about the East Dulwich line. Bus and tube for us today, then :))

Thanks for asking because I also wanted to kno,w and it's not shown on the TfL transport planner that trains aren't running on that line.

What if I > wait at home and call them only to be told there's > no appointment like it's happened in the past when > I was ill? I'm very happy with the care I've had there.

esme Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > the chicken from Co-op > is amazing, tastes so much better than anything I > have tasted from other supermarkets or even the > organic butcher xxxxxxxx Which chicken is this? Because whenever I have looked for chicken in the Co-op, they just seem to have loads of factory farmed stuff, not even free range, let alone organic.

Unless it has greatly improved, the whole decor and general atmosphere is absolutely awful.

minder Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > When the cinema has gone, it's gone! xxxxxx But going to that cinema is a really really depressing experience :-S Relatively cheap, but I'd rather pay more and go to the Ritzy.

silverfox Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I like the "...it's only ?3 a week..." speel. If I > gave ?156 per year to all the charity collectors > who've come to my door over the past year I'd need > charitable help myself. xxxxxx Yes, exactly. And sometimes they look at you as if you're the absolute pits when you say you can't afford to give to everyone. And I really don't have time - and don't see why I should, anyway - to go into a long explanation of who I already give to and why I can't afford to give to anybody else. I think knocking on people's doors asking for money, even if it's for a charity, is verging on intimidation. How many people sign up just to get rid of them, or because they don't want to look mean?
