We have a Robot Hoover (a Neato to be specific) like this one: https://amzn.to/2DZGSzA Yes it is a large initial expense but we?ve had it for 3 yrs so far and it?s invaluable. Everynight when we go up to bed it turns itself on, hoovers all downstairs and then returns to its base to charge. It?s amazing what a daily hoover of your house does to keep it feeling clean and neat. It also encourages you to pick up a bit at night. We only do a proper hoover about once a month. You can get ones that mop aswell if you are so inclined.

It?s incredible to me that someone wakes up early, ie before 6. Gets all dressed up and heads off to swindle a stranger out of their money. I mean, they aren?t playing around. That?s doing a fully dedicated job of swindling. Impressive and abhorrent.

Aww I feel sorry that in some schools kids are munching on a nice bit of fruit provided by parents and some other poor souls aren?t getting anything. If this was my son?s class, because I am able to (I appreciate not everyone is) I would donate fruit for my child?s class once a week. I would also approach local greengrocers or local shops to see if they wanted to sponsor the class and provide fruit or veg regularly out of kindness or for some sort of positive advertising to parents.

I saw the Horniman do children?s parties now. I believe Suzanne James catering does cooking classes for children sometimes. Alternatively a cupcake decorating class would be fun.

I would do a baby and toddler first aid course before it arrives. Just for peace of mind. Harder to make the time for one once it arrives.

I get the bus from near goose green all the way to Liverpool Street then express it. Least interchanges if you live near there.

Hope and Greenwood used to be my absolute favourite place. Now I love the Japanese Garden in Peckham Rye Park. I love the cinema. I love Brick House Bakery, the Forest shop on Frogley and Pearspring. I?m also growing rather fond of the new cafe in Peckham Rye Park. Not for the menu in particular but for the view.

No but successfully used borrowmydog recently.

Definitely complain about it, it?s terrible. But make sure you also pick it up when you see it. We are at the new Peckham Rye playground most days and my son and I pick up a tonne of rubbish before we start playing. Tellingly it?s mostly haribo packets and McDonald?s wrappers we pick up. Always one empty bottle of Budweiser too.

Just be aware that if you start to charge for cleaning it gives him license to stop any pretence of cleaning or tidiness or sanitaryness at all, he has a cleaner after all.
