Rogue moped riders operating in this area

I wouldn?t advise having your phone on view on the street to be honest. Agree re lack of shade. My 5 yr old likes it ok but yes it?s not ideal. However, it is good to have a playground that appeals to older kids. There really isn?t a lot for 10yr olds etc and they are kids too afterall.

Forest for a weekend away from ED?
yeknomyeknom replied to smedavies's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I?m not sure, but Badgells pitches are literally in the woods. Small clearing amongst the trees with a lot of twigs and dead wood around etc. Not in fields or on grass or anything like that. Forest for a weekend away from ED?

Yes the ban was on for us. We used a gas stove for ?10 from amazon. It was great. The toilets were compost loos. They were always clean, regular loo shape with toilet roll provided. -
Forest for a weekend away from ED?

Yes! Just back from camping in the forest at Badgells Wood campsite which is one of the closest forest campsites to London, only 1hr drive. The pitches are a good distance from each other and in the trees. There were groups of walkers on tours and individually along the trails beside the site all day so I assume good walking. -
Can we help with your dog?
yeknomyeknom replied to yeknomyeknom's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Thanks for all the replies so far. We are in East Dulwich and don?t drive so if anyone has any need locally we would love to help, especially if your dog is an adult. -
Hello, This is the first time I?ve looked at a Kings maternity post to see an experience like mine. I always check but it?s always positive. I just wanted to say I also had a traumatic experience that easily could have been controlled. I didn?t get a debrief either. The best I could do to reassure myself I wasn?t mad was apply for all the records after the fact. These contain a lot of the errors but not the ones that wouldn?t be put in a report like - first half of labour took place in the waiting room due to lack of beds, no labour bed available so very very long labour in a normal bed, poor lighting in labour room so lamp plugged in across the room and dragged over to bed (tripping hazard), room being used as storage cupboard so many many medical staff in and out during labour to access materials. Permission given to donate placenta but when removed left on a kidney tin on the floor for many hours until no longer viable. Requesting an epidural after 14 hrs then having to wait a further 5 hrs to receive. The list goes on, quite a bit. It?s been 5 yrs, and like I say, I haven?t heard of another experience like my own there. Of course I complained but there?s not much to be done. So I just wanted to take the opportunity to share my experience.

We keep these in the fridge to use at bedtime. We freeze hot water bottles and put in pillow cases to lie next to. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B074W9YSZ6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This shower gel is super refreshing and makes you cold and tingly for about 10mins after. It?s also cheap from most supermarkets. https://www.originalsource.co.uk/mint-tea-tree-shower-gel

New Bentley gathering dust on Zenoria St

It is clearly a gift. Congratulations! -
Hello, We have owned a dog for 9 years (lovely little pug) until he died of old age last year. My 5 yr old son has voiced an interest in getting a dog but I?m not convinced it?s a permanent desire. Therefore we would love to somehow trial him with a dog for a week or two. We are offering to look after your dog for free (assuming it is house trained and used to children) whilst you go on holiday. Likewise, we are at home in the day during the week and would be happy for your dog to be kept company by us in the day for a few days a week as a trail. Perhaps you are elderly and would like your dog to get out and about more than you are able? We are seeing this as both a trial for a pet but also an exercise in community service for our boy so open to suggestions. We are beside Peckham Rye Park so easily placed to get lots of exercise in.

I don?t know but walkit is a good site to use. It details less polluted routes etc.

Noisy children playing outside at 6am!
yeknomyeknom replied to craigyboy71's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I stopped looking at the clock at 3.15am. Now I?m tempted to release the kids into the garden nice and early to reap my revenge. However, I will restrain myself. ? I am better than that, I am better than that, I am better than that?. -

Adults having bbq in a garden near us since 3ish. No problem. Enjoy yourselves. Still a bit rowdy, laughing etc at 9.30pm whilst my child sleeps. Again, no problem. Hasn?t happened before, probably won?t again. Starts playing the bongos very very loud......?oh come on!!!!? Now a guitar and bongos with repetitive singing. I think I might live next to Santana. -

Oh and also, if you are up for Canary Whatf, Toms Kitchen is amazing. Swanky food, kids eat free (regular food) on weekends and there is a cr?che room! -

Also Franks Cafe on the top floor of Peckham levels is pretty cool and good because kids noise dissapears into the ether. Peckham levels also has the ramp area good for kids whilst the parents eat nearby. Good if you feel a bit more ?street?. -

Why don?t you reserve a bunch of tables at the outside part of the Brockwell Lido restaurant? Kids can then go to the play area before or after. It feels very Miami out there on a warm summers day. -
My 5 year old got up the net tube ok but right at the top there?s a big stretch to the platform and he couldn?t get up without me giving him a good leg up.

It?s dusty because it is one of the best plants there is for collecting and trapping pollution. So further to your post, another positive is that your air is being cleaned by these wonderful plants. intexasatthe moment Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > PS cutting the ivy back is tricky - don't try it > in hot or dry weather as it is incredibly dusty .

A little bit of a longer journey but you will get the weather in Cape Verde.

How rude to generalise. I assume lower class and upper class parents would never dream of such behaviour. My son is loud. I don?t let him in the garden until 9am, 10am on Sundays. Yes our neighbours wake him up with their noises regularly. But it?s not tit for tat. We behave like good citizens. If our neighbours don?t thats on them, but we are happy with the lesson our child is getting about community regardless. -

Also, how about a picnic in Hyde Park near the Princess Diana Memorial play area? Kids happy and adults can play rounders and eat a swanky picnic or hamper? Deliveroo even deliver to the park. -

My husbands 40th today. We brought an afternoon tea with us and hired a GoBoat. It was amazing. Awesome trip up the canals of London. Sunny in spots, shady in others. Drove our own boat (easy) past London Zoo (saw the hyenas) to Camden lock then back. ?90 for 2 hrs for the whole boat. Fits 8 people but very spacious and comfortable for 4-5.
