guys, guys, come on now... How about some deliciously autumnal butternut squash gnocci with sage oil and breadcrumbs? I defy you to say that doesn't taste of anything because it tastes of er.. butternut squash and er.. sage. Might add walnuts next time. Mmmmm.

Linda Norgroves' death - who's responsible?

So utterly wrong (again) in your assumption and breathtakingly rude with it . Good for you for using two big words, two shorter ones spring to my mind after reading that. You certainly don't make the forum seem a pleasant place to be, that's for sure. Whoever that Axeman was, they summed you up accurately. Thanks to admin for the super new function. -

Linda Norgroves' death - who's responsible?
katie1997 replied to Emerson Crane's topic in The Lounge
Well ... my blood pressure is still pretty high after the "rescue" attempt by those gun-toting, grenade-throwing, lying idiots from over the water. They said originally that the aid worker, Linda Norgrove, had been killed by a grenade....although this has now been conveniently forgotten. I thought it odd at the time. -

forum challenge - I need to bake sommat sweetish
katie1997 replied to louisiana's topic in The Lounge
louisiana oh its too late but you have all the perfect ingredients to make those deliciously sweet, sticky, little greek-style pastries with spices and honey which would be lovely with yoghurt. Or you could have made jam (or marmalade/lemon curd/spiced apple & sultana/cheese) tarts. Anyway, hope the crepes did the trick! :) -
Is everyone off their trolley today or what? :D

I would like to join this secret organisation. I'm in. (good idea btw, ED needs something like this. Abandoned trolleys in supermarket aisles are becoming more prevalent and an increasing menace to society) Please PM the date of the first meeting and joining instructions etc. Cheers :)

Yeah, this is serious - we need to impose height restrictions on the sale of these dangerous weapons. Immediately.

Jeremy and rosieh are right. Anyway, just because someone asks on an internet forum doesn't mean they don't have life/social skills. The variety of responses on the edf is almost always guaranteed to be interesting and funny, guessing that's why people get drawn in. It can be like reading someone else's personal emails at times*. * theoretically-speaking ;)

Wish you lots of luck with it.
