WTF artful, dear, have we met...? you'll get 'way' more than a rice cooker for that remark which surely contravenes section 3 sub para 4.2a of the game *rings wooflottinc HQ, requests 'nidd' rules* (thanks karter btw) :) -

I will choose a very lucky, WINNING 79* for you (is that okay Woof?) PS. am I allowed to choose extra numbers for other people now that I am out of 'nidd' and not offering limited edition chilli sauces via PM** *and if anyone can work out why 79 is classed as a winner, I will buy them a rice cooker/drink/delete as applicable ** see private messages for latest selection -
come on DJKQ it works both ways - the attitudes and behaviour of some cyclists is no better than some motorists (as Applespider already said). so if you are a cyclist, whether its right or not, YOU have to make sure that you take more precautions as you will inevitably come off worst in an accident (same as motorcyclists do, most of who seem to have a greater understanding of visibility and anticipation than other road users)

B.C. bikes in ED sell waterproof, reflective jackets (black or fluorescent yellow) with a built-in red LED flashing light on the back which is very noticeable as it sits much higher than the rear light on your bike. They are not cheap wherever you go but hopefully worth it for cycling home at night (tu)

its simple - forget about a compact city runabout and get a 4x4 (then you have to give idiot cyclists a wide berth and as a bonus you can drive through massive puddles without swerving...yay)

For once, my BS button wasn't switched on and I thought I was *reliably* informed on this by a local historian (and not a bloke dahn the pub either).

I found some pure uadulterated (unpolished) beautiful pieces of real amethyst on a beach in Cornwall. There are fabulous tin mines (yes, really) Clotted cream teas. Pirates and shipwrecks. Famous Five country. Rolling hills. Sea. Stay away from Padstein and you'll be fine (tu)

erm... I was trying to stay out of this thread but it was nice to see a posting from HAL80000000000 (ha - two can play at that game) so I thought I'd offer a *witty* response I *honestly* don't know the answer HonaloochieB. Can I have a 'get out of jail' card for this question please....seeing as its nearly Sunday and all :)

The land in front of the The Fox on the Hill in Denmark Hill has never been built upon throughout the ages because it is a burial ground for victims of the plague. Not a lot of people know that.

So excited.. Tomorrow - then its leafy (and it will be sunny) peckham for picnic and backgammon Have a fab weekend everyone! (Nice thread fairy, good seeing what is happening) :)

*bob* has your drokking account been taken over by Judge Dredd? (not that I read comics, I'm just 'in the know') PS. I remember when sea salted caramels (sea, mind, not rock) were just that. Now look at them!

This place gets more surreal towards the weekend. Has 12 been picked yet? Can I go home now? *rings therapist (again)* -

I received an automated PM from wooflotteryinc saying that I had won a prize. All I need to do is quote the top secret number 4689963333251996533388549 (which I must not disclose to third parties in case they try to fraudulently make a claim) and wait for my life to change. I mean, I will still go to bingo on thursdays with maude and ethel like we've always done. I'd like to choose 12 for my bonus ball please - who knows I might get lucky again and be able to treat the gals to a port and lemon (or sherry for maude). *fingers crossed* -
snappy with a light helping of unnecessary sarcasm and general all-round tetchiness (6) outlook for tomorrow, brighter and calm B)

WHO wants to run for a bus in killer heels?! Chauffeur, remember? ;) I simply had to have a stiff pink gin to recover from the trauma of opening that scary link. Honestly, don't anyone get me started on gladiator sandals either...why are they so popular?! *don't answer that*
