  1. Welcome. I'm sure I'll think up a few things for you.
  2. Doubt very much it's smoking outside - I was turfed out for trying to do that.
  3. Bare nipple is usually the dead give away for Masons. Did your eyes reach that far?
  4. I'm getting that too and on this forum - think there's some sort of glitch - have told Admin about it.
  5. Something in common Quids - I've frequently booed West Ham too!
  6. Dear old Fartin' Mauds - remember it well!
  7. Oh, Hb, my heart is a-flutter.
  8. Up town top rankin' - Althea & Donna
  9. Football, religion and politics all in one thread - I couldn't trust myself to make a comment.
  10. Glad to hear your dad's out of hospital. I would vote for cameras at that crossroads, I frequently see cars/vans/trucks make illegal right turns and bugger up the flow. I also think some lighting-up speed sign on ED Road would be good, too often cars are going way over 30 mph - at all times of the day. [Peckham Rye has speed cameras/road markings which slows that road down to an extent.]
  11. She said, she said - The Beatles
  12. Actually, I've pulled the hangover card on the 185 - had a charming response from a gaggle of gels playing their music too loudly. Most effective.
  13. Very God environment as evinced by the House of Praise segment. My daughter recognised a couple of the chaps who were filmed - having Facebooked them, it turns out it was filmed over a year ago - not all hip-happening at all.
  14. So that's Mary QS as left back then, SimonM?
  15. Who knew Laurence Lewellyn-Bowen was a pioneer?
  16. Perhaps you'd be better off with this sort of crochet. Ole! http://cdn1.ioffer.com/img/item/966/060/82/d872_1.JPG
  17. I had an x-ray there just a couple of months ago - again no undue waiting. Just the luck of the draw I guess.
  18. How utterly bonkers - good luck. ps - I'm ready for my close up ....
  19. I rather like the sweater the Brazilian Manager is wearing.
  20. So sorry to hear about your dad, idm. If it's any consolation, the police and other emergency workers at the scene did a sterling job.
  21. Just to report, think it's woody nightshade, but gardener decided to remove them anyway on the 'better safe than sorry' principle. He was really sweet and I didn't feel like an idiot at all! Sue - passed on your comments, much appreciated.
  22. Spoke to Head Gardener and showed him a 'cutting'. He's not sure either so he's asked me to walk him round tomorrow and show him the patches to determine what they are. I'm leaning more towards woody, but he thought initially deadly, so we'll find out tomorrow.
