  1. Can't get diddlysquat out of The Grey Coat Hospital in Westminster (phone/website) so have sent my daughter back to bed just because I'm in a good mood.
  2. Oh VBC - this is my nemesis indeed.
  3. S'alright Moos, you can offset it with a comedy apron - always the sign of a serious chef.
  4. Oh Quids, I'd love to have a little sing song, but right now I have to hang out my washing on the Siegfried Line.
  5. I've been out of work for ages. Now got a job as a dog walker - in this! Can my luck be any worse?
  6. Morley's is the gaffe in Brixton.
  7. My cup runneth over. Just had a wonderful afternoon/evening, celebrating a friend's birthday at a chinese restaurant (happy new year). Snowball fight on the way home. Wonderful. I love snow. [sorry Annaj]
  8. Why has my thread title been hijacked? Bleedin' 1984 all over again, innit?
  9. If you get the chance, do read Dr Isadore Crown's books. They give a lovely feel for what Peckham used to be like.
  10. Have you not seen Sister Mary Joseph with the banner, Brendan?
  11. I once borrowed some baking soda from my lovely neighbour. Moral - don't start making soda bread without it.
  12. Those third rate cricketers have just been awarded that controversial Pakistan game! PS - He who comes first shall be last!
  13. Mama Told Me Not to Come - Three Dog Night
  14. Shame on you Brendan - it's Sunday!
  15. I can see you in chaps, Declan - take his turn.
  16. What Snorky said with bells on.
  17. Bring back Charlie Drake.
  18. From Legionnaire's apparently. Knew one shouldn't trust the Frogs.
  19. Legalise the Moos One.
  20. *Baby* you can drive my car. [if you have your own jump leads that is]
  21. The Man with the Child in his Eyes - Kate Bush
  22. Pure poetry.
  23. I'm struggling on this thread. My current car is a Skoda with flat battery/no MOT. My first was a Reliant Supervan Mark III that needed a CWT of gravel in the back to keep it stable, with a host of interesting ones in between. How's a girl to choose?
  24. Pair of long johns each, hamper from F&M, bunk over the fence at Peckham Rye and have a picnic in the moonlight.
