Noooooooooooo! It's the only place for miles around that stocks non-safety matches which I need to use in my antique match striker. I must get down there before they do something silly like close.
Just push open the gardeners' gate and sidle round fence to path. Or there is a dirty great gap in the fence up Peckham Rye, just past the school that's being knocked down. It was great early this morning - only a handful of people in the park.
Back from a wonderful walk. Amazing the amount of snow'men' - particular mention for the somewhat lewd one with breasts and strategically applied grass. Tesco Express has just closed down - not enough staff. I was fortunate enough to be one of the last let in so we're stocked up on Heinz tomato soup which is essential in this weather. Three cheers for the Park Rangers/Gardeners who braved it in to open up the gates.
Can't get diddlysquat out of The Grey Coat Hospital in Westminster (phone/website) so have sent my daughter back to bed just because I'm in a good mood.
My cup runneth over. Just had a wonderful afternoon/evening, celebrating a friend's birthday at a chinese restaurant (happy new year). Snowball fight on the way home. Wonderful. I love snow. [sorry Annaj]
