  1. No-one has mentioned my all-time hero, George Harrison. It was through him that I got into all sorts of other guitarists. He's not even mentioned in that other Beatles thread. I am I the only one who likes him?
  2. Sunday nights. Lancelot has become Aramis. Very yummy.
  3. Not these builders, perchance? http://www.tuscany-meridian.com/builders/brighton_homes/langley/
  4. Bugger. Completely forgot. Farewell El Pibes.
  5. I used NetNanny when my daughter was younger - seemed quite efficient. You could check out CEOP to see what they currently recommend.
  6. If we're talking about virtuosity and trouser-filling capability - Jimmy Lea. And if we're talking about pure nostalgia - Hank Marvin.
  7. You need to let it rot down or it will produce too much heat and scorch the roses.
  8. Peter Green.
  9. Roads towards Rosendale and Carson Where das Betreten's not Verboten.
  10. Try the pet shop in North Cross Road.
  11. I feel confident in saying that Ted could do Camp.
  12. Jack it in, maxxi.
  13. I think I'm in love with Bruno. Sorry Ted Max and HonaB.
  14. And that series features our own, local luminary: Dame Jinty.
  15. Well done Hamlets. I went on Boxing Day and a couple of times last year. It really is a super atmosphere and it's quite funny bumping into folk you know who support 'big' teams but you are all on the same side here.
  16. It seems there is a fatal flaw in my cunning plan for the Harvester: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2547492/Flatulent-cows-cause-methane-explosion-German-dairy-farm-nearly-takes-entire-barn-roof.html
  17. The dairy in Oglander Rd is now a motor mechanics. The chap showed me round the stalls - v. interesting. It was owned/managed by the woman who lived in No. 1 Adys Road who had a yard behind their house. No. 1 has now been replaced by a block of flats.
  18. Perhaps it should be an abattoir in tandem with curries. From hoof to plate should be a USP.
  19. Ooh, you Northerner, you! We in the south prefer midden path.
  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/arts/robertburns/works/a_mans_a_man_for_a_that/ well it is 25 January.
  21. THink they lived in Peckham Hill Street - or their ma did.
  22. At the risk of agreeing with Mick Mac on something, I love her too.
  23. I changed my battery myself. Easy peasy. My MOT guys sold me one at cost price but you could do an internet search for the cheapest option and have it delivered to you door. Lugging a battery for 3/4 mile is not fun.
  24. No, my spelling was wrong. Should have been: Theltic.
  25. Celtic have big breaths?
