Ranulph Fiennes does point out that it is better to be uncircumcised if one wishes to pee in sub-zero temperatures. [thanks Steve - not sure if I will be there, but a pint of bitter never goes amiss]
Talking of the roof of Somerfield (or it could be Iceland - I'm not quite awake yet) - what's with the serious looking equipment? Is it the ED branch of GCHQ?
Half-term treat was Indiana Jones. What a load of tosh it was - which is amazing given the cast of very fine actors. It was as if half the plot had been left on the cutting room floor and the plot that remained was codswallop.
Wouldn't it be simpler just to swap the areas around? All dogs IN the fenced section, on-lead while being walked there. Then the path and other areas can be for the enjoyment of all. If a longer walk is needed, then up to the Rye with you.
This could be a really naive suggestion but, how about selling second hand record players if they didn't take up too much room? Could nudge the lazy person like me to stock up.
5-6pm on Goose Green there are always a little group of dog owners that hang out. You could wander that way and talk to them, they are v. friendly. My daughter once used them for a dental project she was doing at school and they all answered what I thought were some pretty impertinent questions.
