  1. Oi you lot - I was setting up Jah for Stanshall. System
  2. For my pennorthworth, motorcyclists are neither considerate or the best drivers. Most seem to have a death wish. And the tit who struck off my wing mirror at Camberwell Green and didn't stop certainly was not considerate.
  3. Annaj has an archbishop in her family so she should know. But, having worked in the dear old CofE for the last 11 years, I can confirm that current pronunciation is dio-sis.
  4. Ant your pronunciation is correct for clematis.
  5. I think hooters in Lordship Lane should be more effectively employed. I love making pedestrians jump.
  6. And 'Caribbean' grates when pronounced by a yank. And 'oregano'! And herb!!
  7. A carpet shop is opening there soon but that doesn't sound the right sort of name.
  8. To sort out the London salt of the earth types ask them to pronounce Millwall and jewellery.
  9. Ted Max - a man into cricket and correct pronunciation. When shall we wed? Brendan, you probably don't notice that South Africans seem to actually pronounce it as Pi -uh- t'sen.
  10. So who will be the first to do a Tony Greig?
  11. "Schedule" with a hard c annoys me.
  12. I seem to recall from another thread that the recommended action is to ram a stick up the anus. Not pleasant, but better than a mauled child.
  13. Louisiana It was a website mentioned on a bbc radio show. I typed the url correctly (several times) and each time it reverted to the rant site upon pressing return. Can't remember what the url was now.
  14. I bought mine on Ebay.
  15. To gasp a quick snout
  16. Idiot question. I seem to have downloaded it but can't open it. When I do find it, it just lists all the components in the download. I just want to play!
  17. Thanks - see you in a few hours.
  18. Azul's your man then.
  19. WE DON'T CARE!
  20. Does anyone recall a computer game that was around about 15 years ago: it consisted of one flying a paper plane into different rooms and picking up paperclips for ammunition. Each room had challenges - sometimes it would be completely dark and one had to find the light switch first, etc. I can't remember what it was called but I do remember wasting many happy hours on it. I'd love to find it again.
  21. Thanks Bagpuss. See you next week hopefully.
  22. I have a Skoda Felicia estate which seats three in the back. The boot is enormous. Seriously dents one's street cred though!
