  1. I actually thought Gary Barlow was showing a nasty side last year, running down all the other acts, just to keep his own in. I was surprised that he got to do another series.
  2. Am I the only person that thinks Rylan should be long gone?!
  3. Unbelievable!
  4. I agree about Lucy. She was always so much better when performing her own songs & she has a real talent for song-writing. I'm sure we haven't heard the last of her. She is bound to get a record deal.
  5. I used to keep indoor rabbits in a large pet run. I put two litter trays inside filled with something called Russel rabbit bedding which is soft & quite absorbent. The rabbits used one tray for sitting in & the other other as a toilet. They tend to always use the same place for doing a wee. I think it's only un-neutered male rabbits that have strong smelling urine. You also can't keep these together because they are prone to fighting. As for having no access to a garden, a lot of house rabbits live in flats, so they should be fine. You can buy a product called Kitty Grass, which is a little container containing grass seed. You just add water & it grows into grass that you can feed your rabbits as a treat.
  6. Top 3 last night: Ella, James, Jahmene. Bottom 2: District 3 Rylan (vocals were even worse than usual) Surely he is not going to be saved again.....?!

They should be kept on LEADS! If their owners want them to run free in the park & they are under control, fine. But it's not fine for them to be loose in the street & on pavements. I should be able to walk my dogs safely around my roads, without having to worry about them being attacked. I agree it is the owners who are at fault, but when you sadly hear about poor dogs/cats attacked or killed, it is nearly always done by a staff or other bull breed.
  8. So glad Tilly is ok. Staffs are great people dogs, but dreadful with other dogs. As everyone on here probably knows, I love all animals. However, I do have a problem with staffs. After one of my small dogs was attacked by one 2 years ago, I'm too scared to take them to any park. If I'm out walking & see one off-lead, I instinctively pick mine up. If you look at every dog/cat attack, it nearly always involves a staff. Yet nothing is being done.
  9. I love 'The Walking Dead' too. Totally shocked by the ending of the last series, as wasn't expecting it.
  10. I so love this programme!
  11. When Jade was in the sing-off against Union J, no contest as the'powers that be 'would never have let their next big boy band go.

  13. So who's for the chop tonight then? Has to be Jade or Kye? Hurts me to say this, but Rylan only finished 3rd from bottom on my list this week!
  14. Definitely blue. Then you could knit me a new Millwall scarf x
  15. Isn't that the whole point of the forum? To be nosey, find out what is going on, read all the threads........ And post an occasional reply, if the mood takes you!
  16. MK1 were not very good last night & in the sing-off it was 50/50 as both acts were pretty bad. Let's face it, they were never going to win anyway. I read in the paper that Christopher has been receiving the most public votes so far. Looks like they are also voting for Rylan (why?) If I wasn't addicted to this programme, I would switch off due to frustration & despair.....!!!

  19. I didn't go much on any of the songs tonight. Thought the best performance by far was Ella, then James. Hated Rylan (again). Jade, Union J & MK1 were pretty poor too. P.S. Lucy is ok, but I like her much better when she is performing her own songs.
  20. Why is this clown still here? (Rylan) He may be a genuinely nice person, But a singer?!
  21. So we are all looking forward to tomorrow night then?! I will be here with my top 3, bottom 2 etc but don't for one minute expect the judges/viewers to agree, as they seem to be on another planet!

Just had the one > letter. I received a brief letter, followed by a longer one, detailing the drop-in session that is being mentioned on here. Yes, we do live in the same area, but I don't recall anything about cat-sitting!! I'm more of a doggie person myself, but if you ever get completely stuck, I don't mind coming round to fill up his/her dinner bowl! I think most of our conversations on here have been about the 343/484 bus service!
  23. I got a letter too & I live in Nunhead. According to my letter, they may require access to some properties. I sincerely hope that mine is not on their list.

Philips 11w (60w light) they were/are supposed to last 10 years - they don't last 10 years... and they sometimes explode when they die and if they just die you can't throw them in the bin - they have to be disposed of as a type of hazardous waste.' I got more than a box full of these & I'm still using them in every room. Didn't even realise they were dangerous, as never had any explode or overheat (yet!) Should I remove them all & go back to traditional light bulbs?
  25. Thanks for explaining that Maxxi. Sounds like the same thing is happening with 'The Walking Dead' on Ch5. Another great series, but looks like it will be back year after year, due to the popularity of season 1
