  1. The OP said s/he used the car park while at a meeting so wasn't shopping. Don't think LIDL want that as it may deprive actual customers of parking space at busy times. S/he returned late and received a fine. Not paying this or an appeal may work but people always seemed a bit outraged on here when they are at fault.
  2. The car park is for customers who are shopping in LIDL so it's not an NCP.
  3. Why not raise it with them today rather than reporting it in the first instance?
  4. In the past this has happened to me twice, both on tightly timetabled days. I was so furious I tracked down a senior member at the Fusion HQ. On both occasions I was offered, at my request, a refund for lost useage and loss of my valuable time. Management by Fusion of the Dulwich centre has always been lamentable and I guess that unless they are penalised financially and/or they are threatened with the loss of contract renewal coming up in the near future they clearly feel that there is no incentive to run the service to customers satisfaction.
  5. Non of these companies appear to pay a living wage and by not paying people this is the only way that prices are kept low.

  7. Map reading - especially when the route goes off the page!
  8. Why is it always called a parlour when ice cream is involved?
  9. It didn't appear to be tiered where I was sitting in the middle but it just seems something that could have been considered in a brand new cinema.
  10. Went in the week to see Force Majeure. Really nice job on the decor I thought - the only slight problem in Screen 2, as someone else on here said, is that the seats aren't tiered so if you get a tall person in front (as I did) then it's a pain - especially with sub titles at the bottom of the screen. I did get to move as there were plenty of empty seats.
  11. The last episode of the first series of Broadchurch wher David Tennants character was walking towards the murderers house. We don't know which one it will be and its the combo of him walking trepeditiously down the road and through the house to the garage and then comes face to face .... Tingle down the spine. Series 2 didn't match up.
  12. Not really enjoying this thread. Most of the posts are kinda sad.
  13. Where would it go? Surely there is no room on a comparatively small green patch used mainly for relaxing and dog exercising? Any remaining grass would be ruined in no time. They look a bit ugly too, unlike the Ken bikes.
  14. Thanks Chuff. We just can't plant the same genus in the same spot so we will get something else suitable. It's just that next door who also have cracks were told to cut down their Apple tree so, apart from the emotional upset (the tree was my mothers originally) there is a part of me that thinks they are just covering themselves by cutting this one down too.
  15. We have been told that the olive tree is causing the cracks in ours. They insist on chopping it down which is very upsetting. Also no replacement is factored in which means we are out of pocket by the time a new mature tree is bought as well as the excess premium. Has anyone else had a similar experience with an insurance company?
  16. Surely again this is a management issue. If there are clear guidelines then this should be enforced.
  17. I use Fusion all the time. They have a good range of classes offered at a competitive price. The main bugbear is that there are always ongoing issues with, for example, the temperature in the studios (freezing on Sat and this morning/conversely too hot) and the showers. Also there have been problems with the use of the swimming lanes, lockers broken into and teachers not turning up to classes. These are all management problems but never seem to be adequately addressed to customer satisfaction.
  18. It is not always important to have the last word Sue.

Moth balls sprinkled on top of the soil works 90% of the time for me. Cats & fixes can't stand the smell apparently!
  21. Can I buy this tee shirt? Seriously.
  22. I ordered via an offer with KGB deals. It was fab - everything was fresh and they provided every ingredient down to 3 garlic cloves. It was also exciting opening the box - like a big present. The recipe instruction cards are clear so you can't go wrong and can keep to replicate the meals. They are a little expensive to order normally but I would definitely order again if the offer reappears!
  23. Apologies - just back and seen this. Would have liked to have joined you as I enjoyed the last time. Hopefully will make it to the next one. Marcella
  24. Fantasy price. Elsie a Road seems to lead the way with homes being advertised at ridiculous, almost offensive prices. Cannot be sustained for much longer surely.
  25. Really enjoyed the evening and it was good to meet you all. For some reason I didn't hear the alarm this morning and missed my class!
