  1. Now I think it's time to get behind Roy but just thought I'd mention benitez's awful transfer record that has six of his Liverpool signings in the squads for the final tonight
  2. I won't let my three year old out in the garden on his own, not until he's finished the ironing.
  3. God I can't agree with the Chiles love in. I think Stewart Lee got it right "...a speaking Toby Jug filled to the brim with hot piss" I actually quite like Robbie Savage on the radio, he's like a really excitable puppy with a microphone.
  4. You would hope so, but there has to be some reason for all of those tree air fresheners
  5. see he's signed for only 2 years at Inter
  6. Hi Mark I may have some kit you can loan, when do you need it for? I am also curious how do you know it will be sunny are you a druid?
  7. Good luck to him, disgusting treatment of an honest guy who got what it meant to be part of Liverpool. Anna do you think he could ever be back?
  8. Quote rodY from Mascherano one of the players many said wanted Rafa out "Would I follow Benitez? I don't know," he said. "At the moment I really know little about my future. But of course with Benitez at Liverpool I experienced three incredible years: his football is my football."
  9. Sorry all, did not mean to cause such a diversion in the debate so early on. I am already aware of Goodwins law and have to use the defence of being part of the Young Ones generation (my sister was too young but did pick up 'what's it to you piss face?' at 4 years old which certainly silenced our mum at the dinner table). I thought of a few other descriptions of the the ink crusader, most of which were on a genatalian theme and would have caused more offence than nazi. These were purely based on our experiences of two visits, where he seemed intent on putting as many barriers in place to buying any of his stock. I'm sure he has done a lot for charity but then again so has Heather Mills.

  11. Strange how a shop run by a stationery Nazi doesn't do so well.
  12. To be fair I was with my son playing in the open part last week and there was a couple of guys still working there and that must have been around 8pm
  13. One thing you need to think about is operating system if you are going for windows 7 then the 32 bit version of it can only use up to 4GB of RAM but 64 bit can use more which will be very important with HD video editing I have bought Samsungs for the last 3 laptops and they've taken quite a beating and run well

  15. An architect I know was doing work for someone over there. They had a tender to design an airport, strangely the son of a high ranking official 'won' the competition, his designs was made of Lego
  16. I am about to open the new shop. Unfortunately I am low on funds so I bought cheners old sign and a very small can of paint. Therfore I shall be launching cheners boobs in the coming weeks. My extensive market research showed that what ED lacked was a breast themed giftshop. We shall be stocking free range bras, bust enhancing flip flops and a range of books explaining how you can increase your house value using your cleavage as a marketing tool.
  17. The house next door to us has a flat upstairs owend by Southwark Council. They had a problem with the roof which was fixed in a couple of days, the scaffolding has in my estimation been up for over a month. As we will all be paying for this via our council tax just wondering if this is a one off or if it happens a lot?
  18. Gordon Brown is opening a second hand rosette shop

  21. So penguin68 what you are saying is in the interest of the safety and wellbeing of our neighbours we need to start an ED brewery?
  22. Driving past the playground today there was a JCB type machine smashing the older climbing frame and slide etc. We hven't been to this playground for a while but I don't think it was in such a state that it couldn't have been reused elsewhere seems like an awful waste.
  23. talking of Stewart and joke theft
  24. Went swimming in Bromley at the weekend, popped into the shopping mall and on the first floor was a park stylee wooden bench with brass plaque 'in loving memory of xxx xxxxxx who loved to shop' On the subject of whether roadside memorials are a reminder or a distraction, I saw a woman studying the cards etc currently on East Dulwich road but she carried on looking over at them as she walked into the road straight in front of an oncoming bus, luckily the driver braked hard in time
  25. the hob in forest hill always has a strong lineup on saturdays
