But if he can get on the train without going through a gate where he needed a ticket to get through, he may have thought he can buy one on the train. The train from Bromley South which I sometimes get down to the south east coast has ticket inspectors who will sell you your ticket on the train. No fine for having got on the train without one. There: a precedent?

I still think that cyclists should be registered as long as they share the same road as the rest of us and can be responsible for accidents like the rest of us.

I still play mine. Honest I do. I have yards and yards of albums. See? Yards. Not Meters. Yards of vinyl. Soon no-one will know what any of that means.

I like people who are cyclists and cycle well, safely, courteously and thoughtfully, and are not a danger to me, other road users, or themselves. Ditto I like people who ride motorcycles, drive cars, drive busses, taxis, etc as above. I also quite like people who are pedestrians who choose to look before they cross the road and don't just wonder across whilst on their mobile phones. Answer your question?

It is a lovely idea and I remember when I first moved here it was open and very popular. But, in the days when councils are wanting to spend as little as possible and even offload the running of the parks to Friends of Parks type groups and voluntary organisations, do we really imagine this Council will have the funds and drive to open up our Lido again? On the other hand, loads of money has been found to build the new fitness/gym/pool at Elephant so why not? And it is at the north end of Peckham Rye Common and last year Pull the Other One hosted the Village Hall Experience on the site. It would be good to do something at this site, and for a few years a Peckham City Farm was suggested.

Sounds like a plan the raffle idea. I saw Martin Freeman as Richard III. Still some tx available apparently. I had seats on the stage. Not convinced about the set but the actors and production was wonderful.

Depending on where you are coming in from, and if the person is able to walk, you could indeed park in an estate or private road on a bus route.

Billie Piper is a very natural actor. Meanwhile, if you're after something classy in the Fringe, I can recommend Flowers Of The Field at the White Bear, by Kevin Mandry. Those of you from Sussex area might particular be interested but it is a very sweet poignant play. Finishes this Sunday I think.

I sometimes have to travel with medication that needs to be kept cold and use a small ice bag with ice packs which works fine.

The sound of my motorbike starting up. (Then realising I am three floors up and it's the ring tone of my phone.) So I go down and go out for a ride. This brings deep joy.

Brilliant. We have a dark corner by some garages near where I live and men are always pissing in that corner. Southwark Council genuinely seriously thought it would be useful to put a signpost up telling people not to, and I suggested they take the pier wall down and leave the wall just two bricks high so there was no hiding. BUT I shall leave some empty bottles there from now on...
