  1. My bra. All of them obviously. But one particular old one still fits perfect and is smooth for tshirts, and looks good still, and cost a lot!
  2. I do. Can't wait. At least you have an idea of what you're getting for ?25. Unlike some theatre at the moment!
  3. Could not they head for the site at Dulwich hospital?
  4. Thanks Pugwash. At least they have a coffee shop nearby. In Dulwich it's a dingy corridor when the big room is full. Did you complain to PALS (based in the section of the hospital next to the Golden Jubilee Wing) about it? If everyone complained they would have to do something. (One would hope!)
  5. Thanks Maxxi. Really grateful, as I hope others are too for your info!
  6. Surely this is an East Dulwich specific useful posting, rather than lounging? Oh well..
  7. One of the phlebotomists is on holiday and there is just one guy with a student and he looks exhausted. There were about 60 people there and as one person went in I asked how long she had waited and she said 2 hours but so many more people had come since. So approx 2.5 hours. And this is at a normally quiet time, ie. NOT first thing in the morning. I have registered a complaint with the Patient and Liaison Office and they said this had been going on all week. The poor guy looked tired and it is not fair on him! Anyway, so just letting you know if you have to go this week. Don't!
  8. tarafitness: a couple of sachets of seeds labelled bee friendly seeds from a well known supermarket with an orange theme. I liberally sprinkled them around the flower beds.
  9. On a differnt type of bee subject, I was gardening today and emptied out an old little plant pot of soil which had no plants in it, in order to put a new liner in it. I disturbed three very big colourful bees. They looked quite shaken, ie they were shaking and I moved well away. I brought some water close to them, and then went back inside and shut the door. Later I went out and saw one of the bees burying himself back into the plant tub. And re. my other post, my bee friendly plants are attracting loads of smaller bees, and I had seeds left so planted them in 'dead' areas of land near where I live. Chick, hope your new hives are successful !
  10. Plus a dot, it's here http://www.stephenwrightartist.co.uk/ Thanks for the post though.
  11. Nunheadites sounds like a nasty cranial disease. As there are a few Southwark council care homes in Nunhead and as men on average die sooner than men, does this have anything to do with it?
  12. Indeed, if you search under Peckham Rye in ebay you'll usually see old postcards of sheep and donkeys on the Rye, and other such items including countless rail ticket stubs and issues of the rather fun Ballad of Peckham Rye.
  13. Boots. Ex Timothy Whites! But to say this, "Easy, Southwark Council with their modernisation programme of the time. No doubt, they will have the latest idiots causing more damage than what the Luftwaffe did during the second world war." is a bit mean. If anyone cares enough about Peckham they'll find through peckham Vision, The Peckham Society and the like just what plans are afoot to improve the centre. Incidentally, I got a 1910 photo of Peckham Rye Park the other day, and I'll scan that on here.
  14. I am happy with BT and their customer service but recently found out that our block was the only block on our est not wird to BT Infinity! No room left in the box, or something. I would wait tho, it will be worth it...
  15. Bread machine. Bought my first bread machine on this very site for about ?10 6 yrs ago and never looked back. Someone's always got one for sale somewhere, gumtree or ebay or somewhere.
  16. I got tickets for Dame Judi as I love Lewis Carroll and Alice in Wonderland and LOVED that 1980s film with Coral Brown when she played her, which name I can never remember. And I went to see her in the IMHO dreadful Madame de Sade but she had sprained her ankle (She could have sat throughout, nobody did anything except Frances Barber who thrashed a whip against her big frock now and again) and an understudy took her place. I got tenner tickets in second circle from the top which don't have restricted viewing. I shall bring binoculars!
  17. Was it stuffed with feathers?
  18. Done. Fab! Thanks giggirl!
  19. An underground road tunnel to get us to City and West End. Olympic free of course.
  20. Local housing officers are co-ordinating info on any-one they may suspect who has previously taken elderly people for their pensions. I know it is unlikely in this case but I thought I'd cover all angles.
  21. Just wanted to say as per my opening post, the problem had nothing to do with the content of, or software that created, the website itself, and has been sorted with the help of a kind person from here. Character assasinations from others in a PM were not welcome and they missed the point of the problem. Thanks to (otherwise) good folk of EDF!
  22. Someone on the show last night defined middle class as being aspirational; I would disagree - working classes are even more so. They aspire probably more than anyone else. But I loved the programme and I love what he does.
  23. No, that's not the problem. 123-reg have no problem hosting my little trellix built webpage, but they do have a problem explaining to me how to update my debit card so I can actually pay for a new year. I apologise for not making that clear in the first posting. But thanks for the information there Huguenot. I think the bar is set too high for me!
  24. And 4 years ago Seers / now the Willis in Chicago was $12.50.
  25. Oh Chick you poor thing. I too am allergic to beesting but why the antibiotics? I was immediately put on steroids to deal with the poison. I do hope the floods won't reduce their number, but this year I sowed a lot of bee friendly plants on the balconies and on some spare bits of open land and there have been a few bees visit!
